Thanks to Elizabeth Flaherty, on placement from @sshoxford this month, who has thrown herself into everything from chair stacking to major diocesan services! - with our Sub-Dean @pphobday this morning.

It was with great sadness that yesterday was my last day as Parish Intern at St Andrew’s Church, Headington. But what an absolute joy and blessing this place, and Keble College have been for the past year! On to theological college now…!

My most recent obsession has been starting to learn how to make bobbin lace. I’m quite pleased with my progress so far! Endless apologies to anyone who has met me in person and has had to listen to me bang on about it! 😂

This is my most recent craft project - originally intended to be able to show children what priests wear for the mass, but I think I love her so much that I might have to make a second one for the children!!

Earlier this week I found out that I have officially been accepted to train as a priest in the Church of England. If you know me well, you’ll know that this has been such a very long process, and I’m so excited to finally share this news. Deo gratias! – at Oxford, England

Friends, the waiting is over; the full tragic tale of unfortunate Canon Babbitt is now online here: kieranwilsonwrites.wordpress…. Read, learn his fate, bewail it, and discover how to avoid it for yourself!

I *did* say there was more, and you fine people have committed the grave error of encouraging me, so here are a few more lines from the tragic tale of poor Canon Babbitt. What will happen when the good cleric begins his pastoral round? You shall have to wait and see!

A fantastic Easter and Holy Week at St Andrew’s! Including the joy of singing the exsultet and proclaiming Christ’s resurrection. Alleluia! – at Oxford, England

As someone who once told their then music director that I would never sing on my own, I’m very proud that I sung the Evensong responses last night! Certainly not perfect, but I did it! Also preached a sermon I was fairly happy with - @KebleChapel on YouTube if you fancy a listen! – at Newton Abbot, England

If you’re in Oxford tomorrow evening, and this is your kind of thing, do come along! Also, excitingly Keble has the beard brush of Charles I, King and Martyr, and it will be out at our Evensong 👑 – at Oxford, England
