Toffolo on the comeback from 2-0 down: “I think it bodes well for where we want to go. We want to be in the playoffs. We want to go far in the playoffs. And I think today showed the character of the group.”
Toffolo: “I apologized to Idan on camera. I did touch it, so I took away his hat trick. I'm sorry.”
On his 1st CLT goal: “It’s huge. It's massive. I didn't know it was mine until right at the end bc the announcer said it was Idan’s but that riled me up even more to finish the…
Smith “That was certainly one for the supporters tonight bc it was wet out there. It was a great victory for them. We've had better games &we've defended better for goals but the excitement when u come back from a 2-goal deficit and score at the death is brilliant for everyone.”
Dean Smith: “I thought the subs obviously made a massive impact as well for the quality of the goals, and that was important for us. I thought Rodolfo came on and showed pace and power and skill and quality.”
Dean Smith on Toklomati: “He still needs to work on connecting but he's become more of a fox in the box now, which is important. I like center forwards who are getting goals from two, three yards out because then they're in the right area.”
Toklomati on back-to-back 11 goal seasons. “I'm very happy to score more than 10 goals the 2nd season straight. I've got very good players next to me. If it's Maxi right now, if it's Wilf last season, that helps me a lot. Aloko, Liel, high level players. Thanks for them and Pep.
Toklomati: “We talked about this in the halftime. We came on to the second half with a different mentality. We wanted to come back, obviously, and I'm very happy that we did it.”

With two assists in @CharlotteFC 's 3-2 win against FC Dallas, Pep Biel reached 51 goal contributions for Charlotte, becoming the first player in club history to reach the 50-goal contribution mark.
What a win by Charlotte FC. Down 2-0 in danger of 2nd straight shutout loss at the Bank score twice in three minutes to tie and again in extra time to complete 3-2 comeback. 10th and 11th goals by Toklomati. First CLT goal by Toffolo. Big impact from Maxi throughout. @CltLedger
Was thinking that….second half success has been largely against teams lower in the table. Not tonight.
Biel to Toklomati!!!!!!!!!! Stoppage time goal and charlotte is up 3-2. Three goal comeback. Toklomati has 10th and 11th goals on the season. Wow
Three minutes later Charlotte has evened it 2-2. Toffolo header on a corner by Biel. His first MLS goal has given CLTFC a new ballgame. Musta been that Futbol Friday story about Toffolo setting the tone 😜
Charlotte FC pulls one back. Nobody there for Aloko cross but Maxi sends one back across into the 6-yard box and Toklomati is there. CLT back within 2-1 with 20 minutes to go.
Charlotte putting on early pressure but nothing to show yet then Dallas takes advantage on the counter attack to go up 1-0 on sliding finish from Farrington 22nd minute
Toklomati and Abada back in the lineup. Agyemang starts over suspended Ream, Bronico starts in midfield and Schnegg back in at left back. And this correspondent is barely back from a rain-shortened camping trip watching from home!
Doucouré, a French midfielder who is signed thru 26, made 278 appearances between Watford and Everton in the EPL. Doucouré, most recently with Everton, scored 21 goals and 14 assists in 166 games there. Was most recently in Saudi League. Not striker depth but another attacker.
