Great meet. Thanks to everyone who attended (@beerfoodtravel, @declanh89276931, @smullenpa52), to @TullysBarCarlow for having us there and to @otterbrews, @LINEMANbeer and @WideStreetBrew for helping clean our palates from homebrew (although we also had great homebrew 😁).
Sunshine is back and so are meetups. Next one is Thursday 28 from 7:30pm at @TullysBarCarlow. See you there.
We're back after the holidays. Next meet Thu, 29th Aug around 7-7:30pm on @TullysBarCarlow. See you there.
Another great night with some great beers from @beerfoodtravel @declanh89276931 @hopfullybrewing @LINEMANbeer and, of course, with the help of our host @TullysBarCarlow... We even had a "surprise brew" from #+@OHarasBeers, thanks to the folks in @BreweryCorner 🙂

Nice night at the @CarlowHomebrew meet-up. A couple of lagers brewed together but fermented separately, a very decent hazy (I know) pale ale, some historic rubbish, a hush-hush stout, and a classic. Cheers as always @TullysBarCarlow ...

A quality check on some beer I prebottled from the fermenter last week and carbonated with drops to be ready for next week's @CarlowHomebrew meet-up. I may have overdone it ...

Delighted to have Dec @otterbrews back again. One of the first in the country to be doing Mixed ferm, can’t wait to see what they have for us this year.

About my historic-ish brews - the 1912 Cairnes Strong Ale and the 1876 Strangman's Brown Beer are ready for bottling, but the low alcohol 1948 Cairnes Single Stout still has a bit to go. Fingers crossed, I might have 3 to 4 historic Irish brews for the @CarlowHomebrew meeting ...
ALT Glass of the Cairnes Strong Ale.
