6 years ago today, Cornelius Fredrick was was restrained by 6 staff members of Lakeside Academy after throwing a sandwich in the cafeteria. They laid on top of him for 10 minutes while Cornelius screamed “I can’t breathe” until he lost consciousness.
More than 80% of kids who are connected to a diversion program successfully complete it with no further escalation.
