🚨 IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE DON’T MISS 🚨
If you’re a pensioner, or you have a pensioner at home, this might save you a lot of time, stress and unnecessary hassle.
Every year in November, pensioners are required to submit their Life Certificate to the bank. And every year, I’ve seen countless senior citizens struggle… some falling ill just because they had to physically visit the bank for this one task.
It’s heartbreaking.
But this time - NO MORE! 🙌
Pensioners can now submit their Life Certificate ONLINE, right from home using just a mobile phone.
👉 No bank visit
👉 No scanner
👉 No complicated setup
One of our TF Community members, “hender”, has shared a beautifully detailed, step-by-step guide on how to do this using the Jeevan Pramaan app with just your Aadhaar details.

save it, bookmark it - you might need it every year.
I usually don’t ask for likes or shares…
But today, I am requesting you all -
Please share this information as widely as possible.
It might genuinely save a senior citizen from unnecessary pain and struggle this November.

🚨 Gift Voucher Fraud 2.0 — Bigger & Scarier!
[Read in detail: technofino.in/community/thre…]
Back in Jan 2025, I wrote about Amazon/Flipkart GVs being used before customers could redeem them. At that time, many TF members faced losses via InterMiles, SmartBuy, OneCard & others — all had 1 thing in common: Qwikcilver (@PineLabs) issued vouchers.
Now after 8 months, an even more shocking fraud has come to light 👇
💥 People buying Amazon/Flipkart GVs via InterMiles (@InterMiles) & Maximise (@MaximizeGlobal) are seeing their GVs linked to random mobile numbers.
👉 GV is delivered to YOU via email
👉 But ALSO sent via SMS to a stranger’s number (linked without your consent)
👉 That person simply adds the GV to their account & uses it
👉 When you try later, error: “Already used”
Yes, you paid — but someone else enjoyed the voucher. 🤯
Real cases from TF Community:
One member bought GVs from Maximise; every GV showed as linked to the same mobile number (verified on Truecaller as belonging to Shiva Mehta, CEO of Maximise).
Another member purchased a Flipkart GV directly from Flipkart — shockingly, even that was linked to someone else’s mobile number.
This isn’t a “system error.” It’s a serious fraud.
And the common parties keep repeating:
🔸 Amazon
🔸 Flipkart
🔸 Qwikcilver (Pine Labs)
🔸 InterMiles
🔸 Maximise
❌ Flipkart support keeps closing tickets without resolution.
❌ Pine Labs keeps passing the buck.
❌ No transparency on how/why random numbers are getting linked.
If companies can’t safeguard vouchers worth ₹10k–₹1L+, who takes responsibility when thousands of users are scammed?
This is no longer an isolated bug. It’s a pattern.
And unless these players act, customers’ hard-earned money will keep vanishing.
💡 Repayment apps get grilled every day. But why aren’t GV issuers being questioned when fraud is this rampant?
Stay alert. Don’t store vouchers for later. Add/redeem immediately.
And if you’re a victim → file cybercrime + chargeback.
Because until Amazon, Flipkart, Qwikcilver, InterMiles & Maximise take accountability — this fraud is only going to grow.

🚨 A Senior Citizen Being Harassed by Bajaj Finance
One of our TF Community members has shared a deeply troubling incident: Bajaj Finance is harassing him for a loan he never took, never signed any agreement for, and has absolutely no legal connection to.
Full Story: [Link: technofino.in/community/thre…]
Our senior citizen member wisewalker, a resident of Delhi, is going through a nightmare. His brother, unmarried and living alone in a rented house, had taken a loan from Bajaj Finance. On 22nd March 2025, his brother went missing, and a police report was immediately filed.
But instead of helping or even understanding the situation, starting from 14th April 2025, Bajaj Finance employees began harassing wisewalker. They’ve been threatening him, just because his missing brother had taken a loan.
Some Big Questions Arise:
1. How can Bajaj Finance harass someone who never took a loan, never signed a single document, and is not even a guarantor?
2. Why do NBFCs, especially giants like Bajaj Finance, blatantly ignore RBI’s clear guidelines on recovery practices?
3. How can Bajaj Finance employees threaten a senior citizen, show up at his home, and demand repayment of someone else’s loan?
@Bajaj_Finance is clearly in the wrong here. Despite reaching out, they’ve offered no help. The member has now filed a complaint with the RBI Banking Ombudsman (BO), hoping for justice.
But the bigger question is, why should a senior citizen have to go through this in the first place? Why don’t major NBFCs follow the RBI’s rules? And more importantly, why doesn’t the @RBI impose strict penalties when such harassment is reported?

Dear @IncomeTaxIndia plz note..
CA Roshan Agarwal (@rhoeshan), the chairman of @Dibrugarh_ICAI is operating a whatsapp community where he encouraging the group members for illegal trade activities.
From annexed screenshot, it can be noticed that he is asking the Biz black credit card users of @HDFC_Bank @HDFCBank_Cares to pay the taxes of his clients. For said purpose he is demanding 6% charges. Taxes are of his clients and card users are another set of people from his whatsapp community. Such kind of activities are not as per the professional code of conduct of CAs.
@HDFC_Bank @HDFCBank_Cares plz convey this matter to your MD and product managers, so penal / legal actions can be initiated against such greedy admins. Legal proceedings may help the bank to trace out the name of those people who have paid the taxes for clients of this CA. This is somewhere the breach of MITC agreement among bank and card holders.

🚨 So, someone just got an email from ICICI Bank claiming that their Adani Signature Credit Card under the so-called First Year Free (FYF) offer has no joining fee—but surprise, there's a ₹5,000 + GST annual fee instead.
[For email screenshot, and all details visit TF Community Thread, link: technofino.in/community/thre…]
ICICI’s logic? “We didn’t charge a joining fee, we charged an annual fee.” Oh, and to get that fee refunded, you need to spend ₹6 lakh. What a joke.
This kind of twisted explanation is exactly why ICICI Bank has the reputation it does—clueless management pulling off cheap tricks and calling it "policy." I’m not even surprised anymore. For the record, I’ve already dragged them to consumer court for this nonsense back in 2024.
Let’s be clear: according to their own MITC, the annual fee is supposed to be charged from the second year only. The first year should have ZERO annual fee if they’re offering FYF—only the joining fee should apply, and that too should be waived under this offer.
Don’t fall for these shady tactics. Here’s a screenshot from their official website that proves it.
[Visit TF Community link mentioned above for screenshots]
I honestly have no words left. One of India’s so-called largest private sector banks—ICICI Bank—stooping to this level of cheapness just to save a few thousand rupees is absolutely disgusting. It’s not just laughable, it’s shameful.
And to be even more blunt, my frustration is ten times higher with the RBI. Despite multiple guideline violations, despite countless customers raising genuine complaints with the @RBI Banking Ombudsman, RBI is doing absolutely nothing. No action. No accountability. Just sitting there like a toothless regulator watching banks openly scam people.
This kind of apathy from a regulatory body is exactly why banks like ICICI keep getting away with these shady, anti-customer practices.
🚨 ICICI Bank Adani Credit Card Scam: Joining Fee Charged Despite FYF Offer
Full Details and Discussions: technofino.in/community/thre…
Just like last year, ICICI Bank is once again engaging in what many consider an unethical practice—and for me, it’s nothing short of a scam—with certain credit card customers.
ICICI Bank recently promoted the ICICI Bank Adani Signature Credit Card as First Year Free (FYF) under a limited-time promotional offer. Many individuals applied for the card based on this offer, but that’s where the issues began.
Numerous users have reported that ICICI Bank charged them a joining fee despite the card being offered as FYF. Even more concerning, some users were charged without activating the card, setting the PIN, or even using it at all. This goes against RBI guidelines, which clearly state that a bank cannot charge fees if a credit card remains inactive for over 30 days, and such cards should be cancelled automatically if not activated.
We have screenshots of the FYF offer as proof. Several affected users also mentioned that ICICI Bank's customer support was unresponsive or unwilling to resolve the issue.
Here’s what you can do:
Please visit the TF Community Thread (link mentioned above) to read more.
This situation is a clear violation of consumer trust and regulatory norms, and it needs to be addressed publicly and lawfully.

I recently got a DM where a person was wondering why most ccgeeks buy APAY vouchers for thousands, sometimes in lakhs, just to earn credit card rewards.
Why load the Amazon wallet? And why the Apay supremacy?
So, I thought of sharing the power of Amazon Pay Balance and where it can be used:
🛍️ Shopping - You can use your APAY balance not only for shopping on Amazon but shopping elsewhere. You can buy brand vouchers at a discount from Amazon using APAY balance and double dip on benefits. For example, Amazon sells Bigbasket vouchers at a 4% discount.
🛍️ Non-amazon shopping - A lot of D2C brands (including @sprint_travels 😉) accept Amazon Pay balance as a payment method
📄 Insurance payments - You can pay your insurance premiums with Apay balance. While most cards will not give you rewards on insurance payments, you can load Apay Balance and pay for insurance premiums.
⛽️ Fuel payments - People with ICICI/IDFC fasttag can load their fasttag with APAY balance, link fasttag with HP pay and pay for fuel using HP Pay app.
🔌 Utility bills - Much like insurance, most cards do not give rewards on utility payments. You can use Apay balance to pay those bills and earn rewards. Use it for Electricity bill, phone bill, LPG, etc
🚕 Uber - You can link your Amazon account with Uber and pay using Amazon balance.
✈️ Flight booking - For revenue bookings, Amazon is really underrated and is rarely mentioned. Outside of IDFC travel portal, I have found Amazon to be cheaper than most OTAs in many instances.
🚄 Train booking - I book my trains using APAY balance as well. No more going to IRCTC, just go to Amazon, look up the train, and book. Easy peasy.
Share below what else you use your Amazon pay balance for.

🚨 HDFC ERGO x Apple Scam? 🚨
A thread on how thousands of customers got scammed under the "India Gets Moving" campaign by Zopper, Apple, and HDFC Ergo.
🧵 Read more in details & discussions on TF Community 👇
technofino.in/community/thre…
1️⃣ The Campaign:
In Nov 2024, Zopper launched "India Gets Moving" with Apple & HDFC Ergo. Customers who bought an Apple Watch & walked 15,000 steps daily were promised a 100% cashback of the watch's invoice value.
2️⃣ The Catch:
People bought Apple Watches expecting cashback. Many completed their daily steps & accumulated points. But when they claimed the cash reward in Jan 2025, their claims were rejected by HDFC Ergo.
3️⃣ Mass Rejections:
HDFC Ergo denied most claims, citing step count manipulation—claiming users gave watches to others or used tools to fake steps. No proof was provided, and genuine walkers also faced rejection.
4️⃣ Community Impact:
Many in TF Community who played fair had their claims denied & insurance canceled. Some even provided GPS & heart rate data to prove authenticity, but HDFC Ergo refused to reconsider.
5️⃣ Financial Burden:
Many stretched their finances to buy an Apple Watch, believing in HDFC Ergo’s promise. Now, they are stuck with no cashback, rejected claims, and financial stress.
6️⃣ HDFC Ergo’s Silence:
Customers are emailing & tweeting, but HDFC Ergo isn’t responding properly. Seems like they never expected so many people would actually complete the step challenge.
7️⃣ What You Can Do:
✔️ Email HDFC Ergo for clarification.
✔️ File a complaint with IRDAI:
Via portal bimabharosa.irdai.gov.in or via email: [email protected]
✔️ Spread Awareness! Share this thread to make Apple & HDFC Ergo accountable!
Final Thought:
This campaign feels like a scam—a marketing gimmick. Will Apple respond? Will HDFC Ergo pay up?
