I am SO excited to be a founding member of the Conservation Dog Alliance. This group is going to be a super-welcoming and inclusive gamechanger for the conservation dog world. We have been working for over a year to put together a superb research library...
Unfortunately, Rufus passed away over the weekend. It was sudden and we are heartbroken.
In a weird twist of fate we will get to see him again on The One Show tonight at 7pm. Please raise a glass tonight to a wonderful dog, doing what he loved best ♥️

We're delighted to be teaming up with @CarMFin on Saturday 6 July to showcase how dogs can be a force for good when it comes to conservation. This is sure to be a fascinating talk (with a bonus demonstration of the dogs at work!)

Confirming the rumours are true. Our gap year is over. "Europe's largest fish counter" is deployed. Tag way, all ye trackers! Detections will be shared. Courtesy of #STRAITS @loughsagency @FoylePort and some of the hardest working SOs in the biz: @Fishterious + Rachel Morgan 💪💪
And finally, the last array of our #STRAITSproject is tracking the movement of fish between the Irish Sea and the Atlantic Ocean - the SeaMonitor array! 🐟🦈 the array is a continuation of the @SeaMonitor1 project, and is being (re)deployed this very moment!! #trackingnotslacking

Happy #WorldCurlewDay! We are so excited this year to be trialling curlew nest detection dogs. Here's a video of us training Ziba's indication in case she gets too close to a nest. Along with working on a line & having her wear a muzzle we are taking every precaution we can.

An important paper on B12 deficiency that everybody should read.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: there is no gold standard test to evaluate for deficiency. NONE.
If you think you have a deficiency, you treat it with injections.
.@arianaeunjung excellent recent piece on B12.
There is no gold standard test for deficiency. You must know the signs/symptoms/risk factors and do trial of therapy. Shots not pills may be needed for patients with neurological symptoms. bmj.com/content/383/bmj-2022…
