5 ton ambulance vs @YETICoolers bottle... accidentally drove over it and its still water tight. If this isnt an advert for how strong these #Yeti bottles are i dont know what is...
Not a great start to the shift.

Got the chance to attend a major incident managment training session with the local resilience forum, achieving one of my aims as COL to get the voluntary sector linked back up with the local forum. I promise I didnt just go for the cookies...

What an unforgettable night at Lewes Bonfire! My first major event as Operations Lead for Sussex with @stjohnambulance but the real credit goes to the 100+ incredible #volunteers whose selfless dedication ensured everyone's safety!

Great couple of days at #BlueLightShow2025. Some great CPD sessions with @ParamedicsUK and talks on some very important topics with knowledgeable guest speakers. (and a few free pens of course...)
Yesterday myself and our amazing team of faculty delivered a training day @The_AmexStadium for almost 50 #StJohnPeople. The morning saw candidates rotating around scenarios and skill stations. (1/3)
The afternoon allowed the practice of #TenSeccondTriage at a mock mass casualty incident. I really enjoyed organising the day and working with a variety of clinical grades. Thanks to the faculty and candidates! Practicing like this is vital for our preparedness. (2/3)
Thanks to @The_AmexStadium for allowing us to facilitate the day and @Brakes_Food for the donation of snacks!
Also, as always a big thank you to @CasUnionCharity.

A massive thank you to @CameronPye55 and the rest of the Faculty Team for organising and delivering a fantastic Major Incident CPD day. The positive feedback from our volunteers throughout the day was great to hear! Looking forward to the next one.
Fantastic day #fundraising at our first charity car wash, raising funds for @SJA_Sussex.
Thanks to everyone who came along and helped out.
Also thanks to @lemonade_print for the kind donation of signage and @Brakes_Food for the snacks!
It was fantastic to see so many central Sussex and Ouse Valley network members at our TsT and major incident CPD session this evening. Lots of great engagement and ideas from across the 30 volunteers!

A very important and productive evening for Sussex SJA!
Great evening with the Sussex Senior leadership team planning the future of the district & what it will look like after the national restructure that is taking place. Great that we will be continuing with strong leaders who have expressed interests in the new roles #stjohnpeople

Wherever you go in England this summer, you're very likely to see a St John volunteer or two (or two hundred!).
The team in green are at events up and down the country keeping people safe - say hello if you see us 💚
Today, I completed the two day #MentalHealthFirstAider course from @MHFAEngland. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to gain a better understanding of MH conditions and how we can support others.
