I'm definitely not anti-achievement and never criticized real achievements, including by Elon.
I even own two Teslas.
I do expose marketing stunts that, while cool on the surface, are not the achievements they are claimed to be.
Compressed air thrusters might give you acceleration boosts in any direction.
They might even make your car hover for a couple of seconds if you accept replacing the passenger seat by a 400 liter high-pressure air tank.
But they are not a path to actual flying cars.
The same way Burt Rutan's SpaceshipOne was never going to be a path to orbital flights (just bunny hops out of the atmosphere).
I am anti-Musk when it comes to politics. His political actions, the massive dissemination of disinformation through X and other channels, and his support for authoritarian regimes and racist ideas have the effect of weakening democracy and weakening human decency and social progress around the world.

Fred is absolutely on the mark here. You really don't know Musk if you don't see that the stunt Roadster is to SpaceX/Tesla merger as Solar Roof was to Tesla/SolarCity merger. $TSLA $SPCX
People are acting like I'm a party pooper here, and that's OK. I've just been around Tesla for a long time. I know what I'm looking at.
Again, the stunts are awesome. Truly cool and hard to pull off, but Tesla owes me and many others Roadsters for a decade. Paid in full.
Now we get a cool demo they are using to justify pushing deliveries back another 2 years. And we have heard that before. So 2 years is just another maybe.
The whole event gave me vibes of Tesla Solar Roof unveiling. That was right before Tesla and SolarCity merged and was used to justify the merger.
This looks like the same thing, but for SpaceX, ahead of a proposed merger that I expect will be announced soon.
And we all know what happened to the Tesla Solar Roof.

Another way to think about Trump announcement today: If he increased US diesel imports from Canada by 4%, he would gain as much fuel as from this Russia deal. But the Canadians are global super-villains, so who wants to buy from them when you could enrich Putin instead?

OUCH! SpaceX’s credit-risk gauge hits a fresh record amid reports of new borrowing. CDS pricing implies a roughly 15% probability of default by end-2031, assuming a 40% recovery rate.

« Flaming pile » is a very accurate way to describe *all* of $SPCX.
For now, the more flames, the more the fanboys are willing to pay for it!

It checks as SpaceX does not need much capacity for inference. Outside of Elon fanboys and Twitterati, not many will use Grok. A few hundred MW for non-training related inference could be more than sufficient.
A flaming pile of SpaceX capacity is probably what we are looking at.
So @TroyTeslike is alive.
But he chose not to publish same content on his Patreon, which is sure to further alienate his paying subscribers.
For some reason, Troy feels he can no longer monetize publication of the slowly deteriorating $TSLA numbers.
Too much backlash?

The actual numbers are in. Production was much lower and deliveries were much higher than I expected.
The inventory drawdown was 22,141 units in Q3, following a similarly high 28,368 units in Q2. Tesla reduced its inventory by 50,509 units over the last two quarters.
Note how $TSLA has released working capital two quarters in a row, with no indication of any major development of a new model or model upgrade.
His is the resulting cash being used? Desperately FOMO buying GPU from Jensen Huang?
I've been saying for a while now - $TSLA has a production issue. It just hasn't been able to push out more vehicles, even if demand is near the 500,000 quarterly rate.

What is likely happening here is that Elon is likely trying to get a lot of concessions and investments from @Intel for the terafab and @LipBuTan1 is likely pushing back.
If so, this is correct. It would be very unwise for Intel to invest much risk money on Musk.

$TSLA $SPCX Gullible should look at the history of Elon ramp claims to get a clue that the man is pushing nonsense as usual.
Optimus is as close to a ZERO as one gets. Other than pumping stock and stealing money from the gullible, it has no value.
Troy @TroyTeslike has gone totally silent on his social media and Patreon, through which he monetized his $TSLA deliveries and inventory research.
He has not even followed the fanboyz over to the $SPCX grift.
Hope he is doing better than $TSLA!
Qualitative update on $TSLA deliveries and inventory in the 6 European countries with daily updates:
🔹Q3 caught up with Q2
🔹But product mix deteriorated
🔹Market share did not improve
🔹Shanghai plant retains priority over GigaBerlin.
In more details:
1/6
Continuing poor data warrants another update on $TSLA deliveries and inventory in Europe.
We start with the Model 3, which is still only produced in Shanghai, China.
Finally, a first boat seems to have unloaded in Spain.
1/8
Deliveries in China (local sales only) in Q3 are reportedly down significantly from Q2 and from 2025-Q3.
The shift in mix in Europe from Model Y to Model 3 can therefore also be an indication that Tesla favors Shanghai over Berlin in terms of capacity utilization.
5/6
Final Q3 numbers for the 6 European countries with daily registration data should be available by next weekend, and by end of next week for all European countries.
No miracle will happen. Competition will keep eating away at the Tesla brand.

As expected, cybercab marketing show is now over. Tesla is back to prototype testing with limited number of cars.. $tsla

$TSLA Because “the best data we have” is wrong, Gene. All one has to do is look at the reported accidents for Cybercab in Austin with safety officers in the front seat and it clearly shows with math they aren’t “safer than humans”.
sherwood.news/tech/tesla-fin…
NHTSA needs a wake-up call.
The agency rained on the $TSLA Cybercab launch by opening a probe into Tesla’s self-certification — specifically whether a vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals meets federal safety standards.
Question for NHTSA: why slow the rollout of autonomous vehicles when the best data we have says they’re 7-10x safer than human drivers? I suspect the answer is the march of nines.
With all due respect, NHTSA needs to update the rules written for human drivers and move faster. About 37k people died on U.S. roads last year. If robotaxis delivered even a 7x cut in fatalities, that number would be closer to 5k.
