Arbitrary diktats lead to terrible outcomes.
Ask Jensen @Nvidia. The man sucked up to Trump and his China business went to zero.
Even a policy that you don't like, like the Biden era GPU restrictions, is better than arbitrariness of the current administration.
My take on the US government restriction on Anthropic

Fred is absolutely on the mark here. You really don't know Musk if you don't see that the stunt Roadster is to SpaceX/Tesla merger as Solar Roof was to Tesla/SolarCity merger. $TSLA $SPCX
People are acting like I'm a party pooper here, and that's OK. I've just been around Tesla for a long time. I know what I'm looking at.
Again, the stunts are awesome. Truly cool and hard to pull off, but Tesla owes me and many others Roadsters for a decade. Paid in full.
Now we get a cool demo they are using to justify pushing deliveries back another 2 years. And we have heard that before. So 2 years is just another maybe.
The whole event gave me vibes of Tesla Solar Roof unveiling. That was right before Tesla and SolarCity merged and was used to justify the merger.
This looks like the same thing, but for SpaceX, ahead of a proposed merger that I expect will be announced soon.
And we all know what happened to the Tesla Solar Roof.

More from the "Vote Stupid, get stupid" department - although one wishes stupidity was the worst thing with this guy: truthsocial.com/@realDonaldT…
What is likely happening here is that Elon is likely trying to get a lot of concessions and investments from @Intel for the terafab and @LipBuTan1 is likely pushing back.
If so, this is correct. It would be very unwise for Intel to invest much risk money on Musk.
$NVDA Something that I have said for a long time: bloomberg.com/news/features/…
$TSLA $SPCX Gullible should look at the history of Elon ramp claims to get a clue that the man is pushing nonsense as usual.
Optimus is as close to a ZERO as one gets. Other than pumping stock and stealing money from the gullible, it has no value.
Finally, the data center heat issue has reached popular press. I expect this to slow down a lot of urban/suburban DC construction - and deservedly so. bloomberg.com/graphics/2026-…
You have to wonder who is crazier: Bernie or people who post what Bernie says as if it is serious matter worth dicussion?
Lots of "never forget" comments. The popular culture is not going to let us forget even if we want to. The more important thing is what have we learnt from it. The Middle East is still burning, and we have added a bunch of Iranians to the list of people who hate us with passion.
What @sama saying here is something I have been saying for a while. Sam is slamming the FOMO that is Musk but the more important point is that Jalapeno can severely impair an expensive all @Nvidia buildout. $NVDA $AMD
Sam Altman made some important remarks on the @sourcespod with @alexeheath:
> Not worried about OpenAI's compute buildout plan; believes will use all of their compute very profitability
> Concerned about "unsustainable silliness" of random new neoclouds popping up and claiming to build gigantic lines of compute without the revenue and customer to support.
> Believes they can confidently pay for all of the compute they have committed to.
> "Cost is no object" for compute. People believe they can build compute and someone will buy it at a higher price.
> OpenAI has no plan of selling compute externally anytime soon.
