T&T Supermarket is opening its doors in San Francisco on Thursday, November 5! T&T CEO Tina Lee joined me on site at Masonic and Geary for an early look at the store and to talk about what it took to get this new store across the finish line. The city worked closely with T&T—Canada’s largest Asian grocery store—to make permitting easy, resulting in the fastest permitting process for any T&T location in the United States. Through PermitSF, we’re working to make permitting faster and more predictable. For T&T, that included clearer timelines and application requirements, better coordination across city departments, and the ability to submit key permits online. Grocery stores are an important part of a thriving city, and T&T is making a major investment in San Francisco.
