CUC’s High School Youth Group welcomes all high-school-age youth (ages 14-18) for discussion, fun, & fellowship.
In Youth Group, teenagers bring their faith into action through worship, community building activities, social action projects, learning & leadership experiences.
Service is cancelled today, July 30th.
Unfortunately, Rev. Andree is not feeling well and won't be able to hold the service today.
This Sunday, our “My Inspiration” summer service features the one and only, Rev. Andrée!

Here are a few of the organizations that we champion with funds, love, time, and energy, from a list that grows and changes by the year:
- Center for Food Action NJ
- Northern New Jersey Sanctuary Coalition
- Bergen County LGBTQ+
- Teens Talk About Racism
SAT acts as steward for CUC budgeted funds to support over a dozen local organizations that provide food, shelter, sanctuary from oppression, community education, and calls for social and environmental justice. We meet monthly to learn of emerging needs and distribute funds.
We grow food, attend protests, lobby legislators, invite social justice community leaders to our pulpit, hold symposiums and fundraisers. And our efforts are informed by UU Faith Action and their ongoing activism.
The Social Action Team mission demands equity and justice for all, care for the most vulnerable among us and defense of our Earth home.
CUC members are called to serve one another and our greater community. The Social Action Team (SAT) fulfills this calling in connecting CUC members with current and emerging community needs.

“Democracy is so sacred an idea to UUs that we affirm it as part of our core religious Principles. The Supreme Court’s decision will help to protect the rights of all voters, generally, and specifically those in historically marginalized communities.” - Rev. Frederick-Gray
The Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) is celebrating the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in the Moore v Harper case that rejected the “independent state legislature” theory, which will have a significant impact on voting rights across the country.

For 20 yrs our Afghan allies stood with us, now we must stand with them. The #AAA would provide our #AfghanAllies a safe haven in the U.S, where they can rebuild their lives & continue to contribute to this country.

In light of Non-Binary Awareness last week it is important to remember to shift the focus from just empowering the trans and non-binary community to disempowering cis supremacy + gender normativity.

Glad to see this coverage of the ways anti-trans and ableist violence are braided together in this wave of anti-trans legislation. #DisabilityPrideMonth
