Our right to vote wasn’t handed to us. It was won by generations of people who organized, marched, sat in, stood in line, and risked everything to make sure every one of us could have a voice in our democracy. Now it’s our turn, #UUTwitter 🧵1/3

Our plaintiffs Magon Hoffman and Sheena Hamlin were cruelly denied abortion care in Oklahoma after learning their babies wouldn't survive. This is unconscionable and, as we argue in our new lawsuit against the state, unconstitutional. Learn more: bit.ly/3T5xDVQ

Trump promised his beef import plan would bring big savings at the grocery store. 30 days in, ground beef prices have fallen less than 2%. Meanwhile, prices paid to American ranchers for their cows used in ground beef have dropped as much as 13.9%. Consumers are barely seeing relief, and ranchers are taking the hit. The U.S. cattle herd is already at historic lows, and this policy makes it even harder for ranchers to rebuild. And only about a third of the first round of imports has entered the U.S. so far, so the damage could get worse. You can't make beef affordable by undercutting the people who raise it.

Pumpkins mean spice to our lattes. Crunchy leaves mean sweater weather. Voting means taking back our democracy. Lines can get long, life with kids is hectic, and nobody needs extra stress. So why wait 'til the last minute, or even until Election Day? Early voting is already open in many states, so you might be able to vote today!

Voting should never come with intimidation. Every eligible voter has the right to cast a ballot freely, without fear, violence, or threats. With Election Day weeks away, we’re calling on mayors and governors to act now: keep guns, ICE, and the military away from our polls. Take action: bit.ly/4jWv3wf

The wealth gap isn't an accident. It's the result of choices made by people in power. CEO pay is now 312 times that of the typical worker, after an increase in 2024, according to the AFL-CIO (Source: aflcio.org/paywatch). This is immoral. We should all be able to afford food on our tables, a roof over our heads, and quality health care for ourselves and our loved ones. Check out our "Communities Over Billionaires” affordability one-pager to learn more, hold our leaders accountable, and go vote! --> networklobby.org/2026electio…
