🇺🇬 Speaker Jacob Marksons Oboth (@ObothOboth) flagged off the 10th Annual CURE Brain Surgery Run in Mbale on 17 October 2026, saying he had previously brought a patient to the hospital and had returned to give back.
“I am here as a witness to pay back,” he said.
The run supports specialised surgery for children with conditions including hydrocephalus and spina bifida.
