Our Deputy Headteacher has been using student assessment data in a powerful way to highlight potential.
By showing students how far they’ve come and where they’re capable of reaching, they’re helping build confidence. @HaggerstonSch
Live marking Year 12 work ensures students respond immediately to feedback and creates opportunities to facilitate further support where needed, helping to close the loop in learning.
Love this from teacher Cesar. A student is assigned as the “Merit Master” and writes down names every time Cesar says “merit” in class.
At the end, Cesar can quickly log merits using the student’s list.
Great to see Mr Winters working closely with Year 11, helping them create effective revision cards in preparation for their upcoming exams @excelsiorcst
Well-drilled self-assessment routines in Ms Cant’s class.
Pupils reflect, identify next steps, and take ownership of their learning.

A gentle reminder from Aikeel as we continue our focus on politeness this week.
Small words make a big difference and showing respect in everyday interactions helps shape a positive classroom culture.
Thank you for modelling and reinforcing these habits every day.

Choral response and high participation ratio is embedded because Steve uses the 'On 3, 123' cue frequently. Minimising the opportunities for students' attention to drift
Series of snippets here capturing excellent live coaching from teacher Stacey. Modeling superb habits of attention, CfL, standard cues, copying is cancelled. English have standardised exactly what phase 2/3 looks like👌
