Coming off an impressive showing at the 2023 Collegiate Crew event at Riptide, @CSS_spl continued their momentum with a dominant Division 2 winning run in Season 4
We are proud to announce that we have been invited to @CCA_Splatoon’s Booyah Bowl 3! Though we had some bumps last season we are back and better than ever. Please look forward to us playing!

🌊 We’ll see y’all again soon. Best of luck to our fellow teams in Div 1! I will be helping out Coastal Booyah Basins in the meantime. 🏄
@mooninure , @iHasMagyk , and I ( @Chai_Splat ) will still be playing for our respective outside teams and returning to UNCG next week.
@PeachyPuff_88 will be taking a break from the game and comp. in general.
Riptide is still being discussed, but if stuff works out again you will potentially see us in the collegiate crews event before season 6. Crossing our fingers on that one. 🤞
So what’s next? Currently, we plan on returning for season 6. Y’all have seen us improve going into season 4, and that’s not going to change. I’m honored to play alongside a passionate group of players, and I know we’ll bounce back like we always have.
Because of this, we ultimately decided a break would be our best course of action. This was a decision we thought over a lot these past few weeks.
CSS has always been a team that prioritizes the health and wellness of our players 1st and foremost because if 1 of our players is burnt out or not feeling the best the rest of the team will follow suit. This semester has been incredibly tumultuous for all of our players.
Hey gang, Chai here. This is probably not gonna be what y’all are expecting, and I know a lot of y’all were looking forward to us competing in Div 1 this season. However, for the sake of our players, we will be dropping from CCA season 5. 🧵

Real proud of these squid kids! They smile in the face of adversity! The world of college Splatoon is not something that I saw myself being involved in but I am happy to have learnt more about it. CSS is full of talented students and competitors with bright futures ahead of them!
