#WATCH | Dehradun | Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Vardhan says, "Monitoring and measuring glacial lakes is absolutely essential. It is not just about the measurement itself; we need to collect the data and receive it in real time so that we can analyze it and convert it into actionable insights. This is crucial for preventing or mitigating potential disasters. In this context, the team being deployed today will visit Tal to install instruments and sensors. These instruments will take measurements and transmit the data back to our ground station, which serves as our control room..."
