Great work out of @susanklaeger’s lab. Denys was a fantastic intern. He not only spearheaded this project, but also helped with optimization of DIA methods for our timsTOF. Thanks @fmeierX for being supportive of his time with us! Check out the paper, some great findings there!

If you didn’t see me at #ASMS2024, I wasn’t avoiding you. Ashley and I took a family vacation to make some memories with our son for his first trip to Disneyland. Having folks in town for ASMS was a bonus. Will get back to science for #ASMS2025 - but happy to have taken this time

Very excited to see Ying’s work recognized @us_hupo, couldn’t be there to celebrate but very excited to have Ying as part of our department @genentech.
Very much enjoyed the wonderful @us_hupo and received the Robert Cotter award. So thankful to the community for the recognition and the opportunity to share my journal to proteomics

Excited to see that our paper is getting some views! If you haven’t checked it out yet, take a look! We have also been testing this approach with single cell samples and are aiming to get another short note together around those data. Stay tuned!

Looks like this deadline got pushed out…that is great for folks who wanted to submit but weren’t going to make the previous deadline. I might be in that group 👀.
❗ We still welcome submissions for a 2024 Special Issue on Single-Cell Omics Research, managed by @slavov_n & @thalexandrov. Deadline to submit is 7/31/24 ➡️ go.acs.org/7Te

Two of my favorite things are Disneyland and Proteomics. I have been looking forward to ASMS in Anaheim for years. Hopefully I will see you all there, I will be around but a little preoccupied with a new family addition arriving in March. Excited for baby’s first Disneyland trip!
Thanks, Asher, for reminding people to register for the 2024 @asmsnews conference and a chance to purchase discount tickets to visit Mickey’s house. asms.org/conferences/annual-…

Excited to share the publication of a large collaborative effort @genentech to discover shared cancer neoantigen neoepitopes. From 47 cancer neoantigens and 15 HLA alleles we discovered 86 neoepitope-HLA pairs, 65 were novel at acceptance - check it out! nature.com/articles/s41587-0…

FLT3D835Y/A*02:01 was novel at acceptance, but then described 2 weeks ago in @NatureCancer. We also found TCRs against this neoantigen, but this manuscript beautifully demonstrates in vivo activity vs patient derived AML cells. Check this one out too! nature.com/articles/s43018-0…

10 years ago, our own Ira Mellman helped develop a framework called the Cancer-Immunity Cycle. Recently, he, Shannon Turley, and others reviewed advancements made in the field since then and looked ahead to the next generation of cancer immunotherapy treatments. Read more⬇️
The #cancerimmunitycycle provides a framework to understand the events that generate anti-cancer immune responses. Mellman, Chen, Powles, and Turley consider the last 10 years of research in cancer immunology and immunotherapy & review the progress in understanding each step of the cancer-immunity cycle, identifying challenges and opportunities for the next decade. authors.elsevier.com/a/1huvh…
