We love an update! The BGC Southern Alberta received a grant last fall for a playground shade structure. Construction has been completed and the structure is in place! Hopefully there's a few more sunny days for them this fall.

This morning we attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at John Davidson School in Coaldale. In May, the school received a grant to help purchase & install the equipment at the school’s new location. Today, just in time for the start of the new school year, it was time to try it out!

Show of hands, who enjoyed Porchfest this past weekend? The festival, presented by @LethFolkClub, received a Diamond Anniversary Grants which funded free events that encourage community members to come together. There were some great performers on front lawns in Lethbridge.

On Saturday we attended the Beargrass Festival in Waterton! The event received a Diamond Anniversary Grant to help fund free events that encourage community members to come together in celebration. Thanks for bringing this event back and "flipping tradition back to life!"

This Saturday you can check out live music in the front yards of 6 homes in one central neighbourhood, London Road! In the spring, @LethFolkClub received a Diamond Anniversary Grant to help fund this family-friendly, walkable, free, one-day music festival. Enjoy the music!

In the fall of 2025, we awarded a grant to the @LethbridgeSport to help create the Sport Bank. A space where families can access free, properly fitted sports equipment and clothing. Earlier this week, the Sport Bank celebrated its grand opening, thanks for the invitation!

There was music, dancing, art, and lots of fun this weekend at the Lethbridge Electronic Music Festival! The inclusive, family friendly event received one of our Diamond Anniversary Grant. We had a great time checking it out!
