Last January, during the farming protests in front of the @Europarl_EN, a tree was damaged.
Although we didn’t organise the protest, we felt it was important to contribute to its replacement.
🌳 Yesterday, together with @CEPF_EU, @FWAgriculture, @CEJA, and #SRFB, we organised the planting of a serviceberry sourced from a local 🇧🇪 nursery.
We welcome today announcement of the EC of a proposal of a 12-month phasing-in of the #EUDR implementation.
With under 100 days until implementation, 28 organisations urge a delay of the #EUDR. Combating deforestation is essential but time and clarity are needed to avoid economic disruption, job losses and market uncertainty. 🌳🌲👩🌾👷🧑🏭👩🏭👩💼
