If anyone needs me today I’ll be cracking on, getting back to it, having no rest for the wicked, going back to the grind, heading onwards and upwards and just generally getting there.
Immediately after I have a cup of tea.
I’m enjoying this beautifully written book, definitely one to recommend for our Isle of Wight LGBT Book Club.

They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning,
We will remember them.

It's the people you choose to be with who are at the heart of @sanditoksvig's new novel, Friends of Dorothy.
She tells @claremcdonnell1 why that happens to be an outrageous, foulmouthed, minicab-driving, septuagenarian called Dorothy 🎧 ⬇️

New word: Biscgret.
Meaning: The feeling when someone offers you a biscuit and you refuse, and you spend the rest of your time with them secretly wishing you’d accepted the biscuit.
