Project True North has landed.
We're here to hold Republicans in Minnesota accountable. Follow for the truth. Share to spread it.
We trust our election workers. They are our neighbors.
Why is Brad Finstad allowing this illegal intimidation tactic to be used by Trump?

When ICE came for our communities, we stepped in. We organized on the spot, we fed our neighbors, we documented what we saw. We were the helpers.
Now DFLers are working to keep ICE out of our schools and day cares — for good.

Trump’s Big Beautiful Betrayal is putting health care at risk for thousands of rural Minnesotans. This is not a sustainable system. We need Medicaid cuts restored and investment in our entire medical care system. We need healthcare for all.

We love it here in the First. From bluff country in the east to the gorgeous prairies of the west to everything in between. And we're not going to let Republican policies take it away. Let's Fight for the First! Let's Fight for Minnesota!

This is the most basic thing, isn't it? A pound of beef now costs MORE than an hour of work on minimum wage! We all work hard, feeding our families should not cost us our savings. Brad Finstad campaigned on lowering grocery prices
It's time for change. It's time to #FlipTheFirst
Unless you pay to get in or are summoned for a photo opp, you have no access to your representative. He refuses to respond to requests from constituents. In fact, he thinks you're throwing a "hissy fit" when all you're doing is asking for simple accountability.

Trump is using foreign steel instead of "garbage steel" for a ballroom while steelworkers at home lose their jobs.
Minnesota's steelworkers helped build this country, won two world wars, and have worked harder than anyone in the White House.
Their work is only "garbage" if you value a ballroom over someone's livelihood.
Foreign steel in the White House? Are you kidding? We’ve got Iron Range mines shut down & 100’s @steelworkers laid off. Instead, they’re outsourcing one of the most iconic American buildings overseas! American steel built this country, it should build the White House too

The fact that Oman, has spilled all the details of the negotiation is wild.
But what’s worse is it seems that Iran had basically agreed to every US ask.
And we bombed them anyway.
Teaching another generation of extremists in the Middle East to not trust the US.
A major political setback that will haunt us for decades!

Audits in Utah, Idaho, Louisiana, Montana, and Georgia found a few dozen possible noncitizen registrants out of millions—and virtually no voting. Trump’s claim that noncitizens are swinging elections is false, says Cato’s @stephen_richer.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee just officially called southern Minnesota's seat a top target in 2026! More and more are stepping up every day to help @JakeJohnsonMN unseat Rep. Brad Finstad this November.
It's a good day to be First District DFLer!
DCCC adds MN-01 to its "Districts in Play" list!

*Note: the DFL has not yet made an endorsement in the First District Congressional seat and we will take this endorsement vote up at our May 3rd convention.

From @springsteen :
I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
Stay free, Bruce Springsteen

Since July, I've tracked at least 2,300 cases in which federal judges have ruled ICE has illegally detained people without bond or due process.
This is one that stands out:

Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon said "no" to Pam Bondi's demand of voter information in exchange for removing ICE from the state, calling it "an outrageous attempt to coerce Minnesota into giving the federal government private data on millions of U.S. citizens..."
