A most memorable #evefanfest 2023 has (almost) concluded – only the Party at The Top of the World is left; I’ll be fashionably late. Next time we switch venues and seasons to Harpa Concert Hall and Conference Centre in spring 2025.
EVE Monument Unveiling – the second unveiling after an upgrade at the beginning of the 3rd decade of EVE Online. The monument is at the Reykjavík Maritime Museum next to CCP's old HQ at Grandagarður in Reykjavík.
I am a simple person with simple needs and so I thought that Lady Brewery would just bring a few kegs and a tap to Gróska for EVE Fanfest's Day 0. I found out when biking home that they had been working all day to build a full popup bar and they have *pallets* of beer kegs.
Earlier this morning EVE Online became 20 years old. At 09:09 on 6 May 2003 then New Eden sprang into existence when Tranquility was started the first time and has been vibrant ever since.
Hardware upgrades; including specifications, pictures, metrics and graphs! eveonline.com/news/view/tran… is a long devblog but it has also been a while since we last wrote about Tranquility's hardware.
And now with a forum post #tweetfleet! forums.eveonline.com/t/devbl…
In Feb/Mar 2016 then we upgraded TQ from "Tech II" to "Tech III" (eveonline.com/news/view/tran…); from IBM HS21XM - Intel X5260 to IBM x240 - Intel E5-2637-V3. Since then many more modifications and upgrades have been made but the original E5-2637-V3s are still in the cluster today. /1
Yet again @CCPGames is organizing a PLEX for GOOD effort, this time for the people of Türkiye & Syria immensely impacted by this week's earthquakes. Please consider donating if you can: eveonline.com/news/view/plex… @EveOnline #eveonline
