How do you play the game 1 pitch at a time?
1) Self-Control: You can’t control your performance if you’re not in control of yourself.
2) Commit to a Mission: Decide what your mission is for this pitch and commit to it.
3) COMPETE! Let your training/instincts/talent take over.

Many teams have rules like being on time, wearing a uniform correctly, shaving, or dressing professionally. These things have nothing to do with baseball. They have everything to do with doing what’s asked of you... and THAT has everything to do with becoming a great player.

How you practice & train has a huge impact on how you play! You can't expect to play hard if you always practice soft!!!

Something for all HS athletes to consider. Especially in small towns. Kids need each other. I know our other coaches feel as we do.
