Xavier Becerra has described himself as "a son of immigrants" and said repeatedly that his "parents came to America with $12 in their pocket." But his father was actually born in Sacramento and has always been an American citizen. The Democratic candidate for California Governor told the L.A. Times that “I am very proud of my parents, and I consider them immigrants because even though my dad was born in the U.S. — in a country that wouldn’t treat him the way it would treat other U.S. citizens — my dad was a proud immigrant...I am proud that I am their son. DUI Crash 3/1/25 While under the influence, 62 year female Clio resident made a left turn in front of a 34 year old resident of Quincy. The two vehicles collided in the intersection and generated a major emergency response. The 62 year old driver was arrested for felony DUI.
