As events continue to develop in Ukraine, individuals and organizations alike are stepping up to support those who are suffering. We are proud that @Busuu, our language learning service, is now available to Ukrainian refugees free of charge.
Busuu Premium will be free for 3 months, in 13 different languages, to all Ukrainians who have been forced to flee.
We hope this will go some way to help those who’ve been displaced to learn what’s necessary and get by in their host country. 💙💛 blog.busuu.com/free-language…

What's cool about languages is that you rarely start learning from scratch. If you speak French, then Italian or Portuguese will be so similar. If you speak English, a lot of Japanese words are borrowed from English. Japanese speaker? Korean grammar will be a piece of cake!

German is a wonderfully precise language. This, from The Times: ‘’Mrs Merkel has dismissed what she called Öffnungsdiskussionsorgien, loosely meaning “orgies of debate about opening things up”.
