If I have a reason to vote in 2027, I will not be voting for President Tinubu for one reason and that is because of the kid-glove approach towards fighting fake products in Nigeria. It is no longer a fight that NAFDAC must be left alone to fight. Clearly, NAFDAC has proven to be overwhelmed and cannot fight the fight. NAFDAC is limited in resources, manpower and even by legislation. By now, I expected the President to have declared a national state of emergency on fake products. Fake products manufacturers and sellers are targeting the people of Nigeria in their millions to kill them one by one, while still profiting from it in billions. If the President cannot declare a national emergency on them, he should proscribe them as terrorists and treat them as one, because that is who they are. Economic terrorists and human terrorists. People spending their hard earned money to buy these products, will still have to spend to seek medical care and the unlucky ones die for no good reasons. Is it until these people eliminate all of us that he will act on it? Refusing to be aggressive and treat these criminals as who they are is really vexing me so bad. How about people’s businesses that they are also destroying? #endfakeproducts #nationalemergency

I hear your fear, but your conclusions are statistically and historically false. You claimed 60 to 70% of Muslims are a threat to society. Let’s look at the data. 1) John L. Esposito and Dalia Mogahed wrote a book called: Who Speaks for Islam? In this book, they analyzed a large Gallup poll of the Muslim world. The research showed that 93% of Muslims are moderates. That is, your fear is based on a tiny minority, not the global majority. You also mentioned ISIS and Boko Haram. Did you know Muslims are their primary victims? Global terrorism data shows that the vast majority of people killed by these groups are Muslims in Muslim-majority countries. Therefore, blaming everyday Muslims for their crimes is like blaming the victims for the actions of their killers. Again, there is a glaring hypocrisy you haven’t talked about. How you and the media analyze these events. Your post says a lot to prove me right. When a Christian commits a horrific crime, he is treated as an isolated individual. He is known by his name, and his religion is shielded. But when a Muslim commits a crime, his entire religion is instantly tagged to him. Let me even ask you a question? Have you heard of figures such as Timothy McVeigh, Anders Breivik, or Joseph Kony and the Lord's Resistance Army before? Jsyk, they committed unimaginable terrorism, yet the media never branded them as Christian terrorists or blamed the Church. Their faith was protected while they were rightfully blamed as individuals. If we judge Islam by the actions of a radicalized few, we must judge every other religion by the same standard. Read the data and do not let media bias dictate your reality. 2) As for the historical marriage of Aisha, your position is borne out of ignorance. This is why you can boldly ignore the context and the historical reality of the 7th-century to say the nonsense you are saying. Did the Prophet marry Aisha in the 21st century? No. So why are you hell bent in distorting history? In fact, do you also know that across all global cultures, inclusive of Christianity, marriage was tied to puberty and societal readiness? If you look at the Bible and early Christian history, teenage marriage was the accepted standard. Theological and historical consensus places Mary, the mother of Jesus, at around 12 to 14 years old when she was betrothed to Joseph. In fact, King Josiah in the Old Testament became a father by age 15, meaning his marriage happened even earlier. What the Prophet (peace be upon him) did was not strange to the era he lived in. It was the universal norm. You are the one who is suffering from presentism. It is a type of psychological disorder where one is hellbent on judging historical figures by modern standards. Yet, the two eras are not comparable. Presentism is not a valid argument. It is just historical illiteracy dressed up as fake outrage. Read. Learn. Don’t be ignorant. Allah knows best.

Da'wah is not done that way. A wall fan or a section of the mosque could collapse while the imam is delivering khutbah too. Does that mean the Imam was not on the right path? Let's know what we are doing please. We can use other ways to tell them to leave the teachings of Paul and embrace Islaam but not this tragic incident.
Isn't this enough reason for you to convert to Islam today?? Hmmm

talk bout the Adeleke's you goat... most times I wonder if you think things through before posting. you were specific with Natasha but others were "whose parents are from two different regions"
This country is a very αnyhow place. Senator Natasha's mother is from Ukraine, while her dad is a Nigerian, and she was elected to lead her people. But if a Nigerian whose parents are from two different regions wants to contest in this country, questions of ethnicity will be used against them.

A 5-year-old girl plunged 49 feet from a moving cruise ship into the open ocean. Her father heard his wife screaming and raced toward the railing, only to discover that their daughter was gone. It happened aboard the Disney Dream near the Bahamas, where a family vacation took a terrifying turn when the little girl fell from the ship’s fourth deck. When her father realized what had happened, he jumped overboard after her, plunging nearly 50 feet into the ocean. But when he surfaced, he couldn’t see his daughter anywhere. He began desperately calling out for her, searching the water until he finally heard her calling back. He swam toward her and managed to reach her, but they were still stranded in the open ocean as the massive cruise ship began turning around. For roughly 20 minutes, he kept his little girl afloat, holding her above the water until a rescue boat finally reached them and brought them back to safety. Both survived, although the father suffered two fractures in his spine from the fall. It takes an incredible amount of courage to jump nearly 50 feet into the open ocean, not knowing what awaits you below. But this father didn’t hesitate to put his own life on the line for his little girl. Thank God they both made it home.

🇳🇬🪖Let me say this as a soldier who has fought for every inch of this country. Nigeria belongs to all of us. I have served in the North. I have served in the South. I have served in the East. I have served in the West. I have bled in the bushes of Borno. I have walked the forests of the South West. I have stood at checkpoints in the South East. I have patrolled the creeks of the South-South. And let me tell you what I have learned: The enemy does not care about your tribe. Boko Haram does not check your ethnicity before they kill you. Bandits do not ask where you are from before they kidnap you. ISWAP does not consult your dialect before they bomb you. So while some people are busy calling Nigeria a "zoo" and dreaming of its collapse, I am in the bush with men from every tribe, every religion, every region. We eat together. We fight together. We bleed together. We die together. And we do it all for one thing: Nigeria. You can disagree with how this country is run. You can demand better leadership. You can fight for justice and fairness. That is your right. But you cannot wish Nigeria d£@d. Because if Nigeria dies, we all die with it. There is no tribe that will survive alone. There is no region that will stand alone. We are one nation. For better or worse. Until the end. To those who dream of Nigeria's collapse dream on. Nigeria is here to stay. To those who call Nigeria a zoo the only zoo I see is the one in your mind. To every Nigerian who believes in this country keep believing. Keep fighting. Keep building. Nigeria is bigger than any tribe. Bigger than any region. Bigger than any generation. Nigeria belongs to all of us. And we will defend it. Together.
Some tribe in 🇳🇬 has spent generations rejecting Nigeria. Calling our beloved country 🇳🇬 a “zoo” and dreaming of its collapse. Their forefathers tried, their fathers tried, and now some have continued the same rhetoric. But Nigeria 🇳🇬 has endured and it is bigger than any tribe, region or generation. Nigeria is here to stay. 🇳🇬 We may disagree on how to fix her, but this country belongs to all of us.

These people are back at it again. Ahmad zakka who was abducted from his home alongside his wife and their toddler, is now being portrayed as a Christian victim of a so-called Christian genocide. I commented on the TikTok post to point out that the man is a Muslim, but my comment was deleted. That means how knows what he is doing. The woman herself was heard saying, “Innalillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” yet this person still went ahead to portray them as a Christian and solicit donations. What exactly are these people trying to achieve? Why exploit the suffering of an abducted family to push a religious narrative? And why turn a tragedy that deserves everyone’s compassion into an opportunity to spread misinformation?
This is Ahmed Zakka, who was abducted in Millennium City, Kaduna. He is appealing for help while being held captive alongside his wife and their baby by bandits. This is Nigeria under the APC government. How long will this continue? When will ordinary Nigerians be able to sleep peacefully, travel safely, and live without the fear of being kidnapped? A man, his wife, and their innocent baby are at the mercy of bandits. How many more Nigerians must suffer before something changes? We are tired. We are scared. We deserve better. Nigeria needs change!

You and your Muslim friends are very ignorant on this subject. I have explained this same video more than three times, yet you people keep peddling lies. The video is just content. And even if it is a real life situation, the real Islamic ruling on this is very clear. The claim that the only person who can make you stop praying is your mother is a big distortion. This misunderstanding comes from a specific historical narration about a man named Jurayj who was observing a voluntary prayer. Islamic scholars have explained that breaking a prayer to answer a parent applies to voluntary prayers, not the obligatory ones.  Now regarding the scenario of someone collapsing. In Islamic jurisprudence, the preservation of human life is a primary objective that overrides the continuation of prayer. If a person collapses, is drowning, or is in any mortal danger, breaking your prayer to save them is compulsory. Standing there and continuing your prayer while someone dies beside you is a major sin. What else do you want to hear? The fact that your friends were mute and claimed "that is how the Quran was written" proves you are either mischievous yourself, or you are a liar, or the people you asked know nothing about the religion. Allah knows best.
I showed this video to my Muslim brothers who are here with me and honestly, I'm surprised to hear it's a law in Islam, that during prayer, the only person that can call you and you'll stop praying and answer is your mother. I then asked that, what if it was him and his mother, and she suddenly collapsed in front of him, will he stop the prayer and rush to her.? because from this video, the man that collapsed didn't say anything. Everybody was mute.. then i became speechless.. someone then said, that it's how the Quran was written. I said Ok and we ended the conversation peacefully.

A trillion-dollar question: Who is the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway really being built for? The Federal Government's decision to divert the highway inland through Edo State to join the East-West Road raises serious questions about transparency, value for money and the future of coastal communities the project was meant to serve. The Minister of Works calls this “a wonderful engineering decision by Mr President.” But Nigerians deserve more than assurances. They deserve evidence. We call on @FMWNIG to: - Publish the revised route and the engineering studies justifying the change. - Disclose the updated project cost and explain the financial implications for public funds. - Explain how the change will affect coastal communities and their access to the promised benefits. - Publish relevant environmental assessments and demonstrate that affected communities have been consulted. We urge the @NigeriaGov to make these documents public and address these concerns before proceeding with the revised plan. A major public project cannot be judged by engineering claims alone. It must demonstrate value for money, protect the public interest and deliver on its promises to Nigerians. We call for transparency, public consultation and accountability in every decision affecting this project. #Publicfundsmustworkforthegoodofthepeople #LagosCalabarHighway

Ignorance shall never end. A lot of things happened yesterday that I was not online. Thank God I am seeing them one by one. You all wont get away with your propaganda and lies. I am here for all of you. When people build their faith on emotional rhetoric rather than rigorous study, they expose their intellectual bankruptcy in public. Let’s get straight to it. First, she started by weaponizing the Hadith about the Prophet's final illness, claiming he used his last moments to curse Jews and Christians. This is a severe misrepresentation of the text. The Prophet was not issuing a random, hateful insult. He was delivering a strict theological warning. He warned his followers not to build places of worship over his grave, citing the historical mistake of previous nations who turned the resting places of their prophets into shrines. It was a protective command to preserve strict monotheism.  You do not have to take my word for it. Just read Peter Brown, the foremost historian of Late Antiquity, and his foundational book: “The Cult of the Saints.” He thoroughly documented how early Christians began building altars and basilicas directly over the graves of martyrs, turning human tombs into sites of worship and divine intercession. The Prophet was looking at the historical reality of how the followers of Jesus corrupted pure monotheism by praying at gravesites. He was protecting his Ummah from repeating that same historical error. It was a calculated defense of the oneness of God, not a petty curse. Second, she then criticized his order to expel polytheists from the Arabian Peninsula. Funnily, she is confusing a vital state policy with personal animosity. The Prophet was the Head of State. The Arabian Peninsula was the central sanctuary and military headquarters of the Islamic state. Therefore, securing the geopolitical heart of a nascent nation from hostile, treasonous factions is standard statecraft. Every sovereign nation secures its capital.  Again, her reliance on the Gospel of Luke to prove Jesus is superior is where her academic deficiency shines brightest. She quoted Luke 23:34, where Jesus supposedly says, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do". But let us ask a basic historical question. Who wrote the Gospel of Luke? The author never identifies himself in the text. You do not have to guess this. The works of leading New Testament scholars such as Bart Ehrman in his book:“Jesus, Interrupted” or Raymond E. Brown in: “An Introduction to the New Testament”, confirmed this for us. They confirmed the historical consensus that the Gospel of Luke was written anonymously, decades after the time of Jesus, by someone who was not an eyewitness. This is why in the very first verses of Luke, the anonymous author admits he is compiling stories handed down by others.  To make matters worse, any serious textual critic will tell you that Luke 23:34 is a later interpolation. It is completely missing from the earliest and most reliable Greek manuscripts, like Papyrus 75 and the Codex Vaticanus. Unknown scribes added it to the text centuries later. That is to say, she is using a fabricated quote, inserted by unknown scribes into an anonymous book written by a non-eyewitness, to claim theological superiority. No be juju be that? If we want to talk about documented forgiveness, look at the historical Conquest of Mecca. The Prophet (peace be upon him) conquered a city of people who tortured his followers and murdered his family for years. He had total military dominance. Instead of mass execution, he granted them full amnesty. Emphasis on full amnesty. 1/2🧵
Everyone, irrespective of religion, should listen to her

There is one thing I want us to know. Conventional mortgages in the West are built on compound interest. This makes them a direct form of Riba and strictly forbidden. However, there are alternatives where Islamic financing models have been designed to keep the transaction halal. One of them is Al-Ijara Al-Muntahiya bi-t-Tamleek. This is a lease that ends in ownership. The bank buys the property and rents it to you. A portion of your monthly payment goes toward the rent, and another portion goes toward purchasing the home at the end of the lease term. The rental agreement and the promise of ownership are kept distinct to avoid the prohibition of combining two conflicting sales into one. When you make your final rental payment, the lease agreement naturally expires. At this point, the promise is triggered. To execute the transfer, you and the bank sign a brand new, independent contract. The bank will either gift you the house through a contract of Hiba (gift) or sell it to you for a token amount like one dollar. This final step is what officially moves the legal title into your name. Another one that many of my followers here use is Musharaka Mutanaqisa. It translates to a diminishing partnership. This is halal when the paperwork is done right. This is how it works. You and the financial institution buy the house together as partners. If you put down 20%, the bank owns the remaining 80%. You live in the house and pay rent to the bank for using their share of the property. Alongside the rent, you make payments to slowly buy out their equity. As you buy more shares, your rent decreases because the bank owns less of the house. You keep doing this until you buy out their final share and become the sole owner. The main/only thing you must verify with any institution offering this is that they share the risk of ownership. If the house burns down or gets destroyed by a natural disaster, the financial loss must be shared according to the percentage of ownership at that time. If the bank pushes all the risk onto you while claiming to be your partner, then the contract is flawed. As for credit cards, the Fiqh ruling here is strict but very practical. You are allowed to use them, but you must pay off the full balance every single month before the grace period ends. You cannot let the money roll over into the next month because that is when Riba kicks in. But there is one problem—the problem of intent. This is because signing a credit card contract means you are agreeing to a late fee penalty clause. This is fundamentally problematic in Fiqh. However, major Islamic councils permit Muslims in the diaspora to sign these contracts out of necessity. Emphasis on Necessity. Necessity is different from Need. Their rulings are different. This is a discussion for another day. All in all, the major condition here is your own financial discipline. You must ensure you never trigger that clause and never pay any interest. And when it comes to other credit facilities like student loans, car financing, or those Buy Now Pay Later apps, you have to remember the golden rule of Islamic jurisprudence: كل قرض جر نفعا فهو ربا Every loan that brings a benefit to the lender is Riba. If a facility adds any interest percentage on top of the money you borrowed, you cannot take it. It is that straightforward. The only time these become permissible is if they give you a genuine zero percent APR. You can also use fixed installment sales, but only if the final price is permanently locked in and does not jump up as a penalty if you miss a payment. Allah knows best.
Replying to @YusufAsunmogejo
@YusufAsunmogejo pls also shed more light on mortgages, credits cards and other forms of credit facilities in the abroad. This is for knowledge sake! Caveat: before people start to insinuate what’s not. I don’t do any 😂

Since you are so hellbent on tarnishing the image of my faith,I will not rest too. If I may ask: Where is the video man? Anyone with clear vision can see this video is likely a staged act. But even though this is fake, we must talk. I will not let you use a scripted clip to push a dangerous narrative and misguide millions of people. Let me educate you on what Islam truly stands for. Muslims do not endorse this nonsense. In Islamic jurisprudence, if a person slumps, drowns, or faces a life-threatening emergency, breaking your prayer to save them is a strict obligation. It is never an option. It is forbidden to continue praying. You must break the prayer instantly and offer help. A Muslim can repeat a prayer later, but we can never bring back a lost human life. Islam is built on preserving life. The Quran makes it clear that saving a single soul is like saving all of humanity. So if this was a real scenario and the man understood his religion, he would have dropped his prayer the second the man fell on the floor. And if he held on to his prayers, then the prayer is even against him than a reward for him. Stop using staged videos and ignorant actions to define a faith you know nothing about. Human life is placed far above the completion of any prayer. Allah knows best.
These two men were praying inside a mosque when one of them suddenly slumped. But instead of rushing to help him, the other man continued praying until the man passed away. 😢
