An Alfa Romeo 4C engine swap into a widebody Abarth 500 with AWD and 350bhp. The GR Yaris has a brilliant 1.6L three cylinder, but next to this it looks tame. Absolutely mad, and I love it.

BMW built the 325iS Hommage as a tribute to one of South Africa’s most legendary BMWs.🇿🇦 The original 325iS wasn’t just an E30 with an M badge thrown at it. It was developed specifically for the South African market, with BMW Motorsport involvement and a serious performance purpose. Then, decades later, BMW South Africa brought the name back. The 325iS Hommage took the modern M4 platform and dressed it in E30-inspired details, paying tribute to the car that became a cult icon in South Africa. It’s one of those BMWs that makes more sense when you know the story behind the original. A modern BMW built to celebrate a car that was never really meant to be forgotten.
