@todosmath learning part 2

So many amazing presenters at @todosmath!!

Proud to represent @southlakeshs and @MathematicsFcps

Day 2 of learning at @VCTMath Thank you @SouthLakesPTSA

Thank you @SouthLakesPTSA for paying my fee for the @VCTMath conference. When I registered, I had no idea I would be recognized at the opening ceremony for being a state finalist for a Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Such an honor!

Happy Pi Day!!

Had my best ever first day as students were thinking and actively engaged, collaborating on the four fours. Algebra comes next week but thinking began today.

Thank you Dr King! There are no bystanders in the fight against racism.

Last session of #HtbaAEFCPS with @tarapaigehewan and @RobKerrFCPS but not the end of learning. Thank you for the learning and the community. FCPS educators, I highly recommend How to be an Anti-Racist Educator if you are looking for a class to take this summer

This is why I love AFDA & PBL & my kids & "I used to think..." "I used to think this project was hard to do but now I know I have the potential to do things that seem hard."

So excited to learn more about how VMPI will improve equity and provide choice in Mathematics education at #VCTM21 doe.virginia.gov/instruction…

Glad to be able to share some great AFDA resources in collaboration with @MsHammondCheese and @mrsjcmc at #VCTM21

Happy International Women's Day! Started my day with Cultural Proficiency Training led by two amazing leaders at South Lakes @twelborn and Jill Silton. My wish for every young woman is that they find work that brings as much fulfillment & joy as teaching brings me. @southlakeshs
