When the whiteboard work is self-initiated and continues at lunch, it makes me 😊.

A beautiful sentiment for teaching and learning. ❤️

Happy birthday @srabookworm!

One of my favorite Calc lessons of the year. Students fill every board in the room with derivatives found from linear, quadratic, and cubic polynomials using the limit def of derivative. Then they look for a pattern. They tell me the power rule. 💪🏻👏🏻

So this year at Open House, I tried something new. At the end of my spiel, I gave each parent an index card and asked them to tell me something wonderful about their child. Y’all. I am reading these beautiful responses and 🥹.

A little limit war to end the week before a lovely 3 day weekend.
