Retail is dead? No. It’s only dead in downtown SF where CAR FREE is. Serramonte & Stones are packed. As locals, it’s sad that we can’t shop locally bc of crazy SF policies that’r anti-car anti-families anti-biz & pro criminals, closed/slowed street gangs, bike/transit/walkSF nuts
Jagalchi, a massive 75,000-square-foot grocery store named after the largest seafood market in Korea, opened its doors in Daly City’s Serramonte Center last Friday, nearly a year after first announcing plans to take up the vacant space inside JCPenney.

Love how @rachelswan doesn’t even mention the Great Highway. I live in an area where Crossover has always been my secret route around tourists on weekends, but now it’s backed up almost daily. It took us 45 minutes on a Saturday to get to the Polish deli on Geary. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/t…

Huge traffic jam. Glad no pregnant woman got stuck in the Crossover Drive traffic and had to deliver in Golden Gate Park. What’s the solution? I bet it’s not about @openthegreathwy during emergency, but probably don’t get pregnant or give birth on the Westside? #YesOnG!
Hardly Strictly temporarily closes all gates for first time ever due to crowds sfgate.com/sf-culture/articl…

Another No On G nut just wanted us die in traffic jam, instead of @openthegreathwy during emergencies. This is the 3rd one after Barak Gila who wanted to burn us alive to get our land. The housing nuts and the shutting down the road nuts both want us dead. They same group?
This just proves the Yes on G campaign will aim for weekend closure of Sunset Dunes in 2028. The “compromise” people NEVER wanted compromise.

Collusion in closing the Great Highway for sure, among @Scott_Wiener @SFMTA_Muni @sfcta @RecParkSF @JoelEngardio Friends of Sand Dunes Park, @LondonBreed @philginsburgsf @jeffreytumlin Abundance AF, Myrna Melgar… They need to be fired.
Looking at you @SPUR_Urbanist @DanielLurie @myrnamelgarsf @Scott_Wiener @SFMTA_Muni @SFBART And mostly: the creepy AF Abundance Network Defrauding voters of their RIGHT to approve or disapprove bonds for public transportation through lies, manipulation and disinformation. Prop H and RTM need to go down in flames. This kind of guerilla governance is NOT RIGHT. It is COLLUSION against voters and taxpayers. @HarmeetKDhillon

This is what San Francisco yimbys stand for (just this week!) Abolish the fire department and vote for a sexual predator. Last week it was supporting politicians taking bribes from Flock to decrease oversight

Hey @JoelEngardio and your backers, you want to burn us alive? I remembered you said we won’t be around in 10 years. I get it now. You and your boss long have a plan. Who is your boss? #YesonG @openthegreathwy
Barak Gila admits that he wants to burn down San Francisco. They all want this deep down. And they’d prefer no warning. Easier to scoop up lots of we’re dead. For context, Wiener’s old boss of 9 years, Dennis Herrera, got appointed to lead utilities by Breed and the first thing he did was gut fire hydrant upgrades in half the city. Maybe arson really is their plan b.

The problem is YiMBYs openly plot on how to tax grandma out of her home and even openly and freely fantasize about her house burning down and defunding the fire department. So if given the ultimatum between the 2 groups, I’m with grandma.
3 thoughts about the Politico property tax revolt piece. 1. This reminds us of why California voters approved Prop 13 in the first place. Property owners faced rapid increases in their taxes due to higher rates and sharp rises in assessed values. 2. Getting rid of property taxes or exempting seniors only works if there are offsetting spending cuts so that local government budgets don't get thrown out of balance. 3. I can understand why seniors think they should get an exemption (living on fixed incomes, no longer having kids in public schools, desire to own a home free and clear), but I don't think age-based exemptions are good public policy. The goal should be to keep taxes in check for everyone by controlling spending. politico.com/news/magazine/2…

There are conspiracy theories all over the place on why the Pacific Palisade or the Lahaina fires happened. Do YIMBYs want us to burn alive just to get our land? Total conspiracy theories, right?! #YesOnG
Defund the police. Defund the fire department. Burn down the neighborhood. The YIMBY housing plan is now just arson with a zoning permit.

I was out there several months ago, SFFD was out there for an e-bike striking a child. I assume someone called 911. The first response was hindered by the blockades at the ends of the road.

San Francisco is known for "Indian summer." Warmerest weather in fall. October's beautiful weather has always brought people to the beach, and this year it has given No on G a sunny backdrop for its promotional ads ahead of the November election. Don't let ads with crowds on hot days overshadow residents' everyday transportation needs. And don't let anyone gaslight you that enjoying our coastline requires permanently closing the Great Highway. Ocean Beach will still be open. The paved pathways and promenades will still be available. We can enjoy these spaces while sharing the two-mile Great Highway. The Sunset Dunes Park is 50-acre and not just the 2-mile asphalt road. The Great Highway Compromise restores weekday commuters access while keeping the roadway car-free on weekends and holidays. A compromise means both sides make room for each other: working-class residents and commuters share weekday access, and people keep dedicated time to walk, bike, skate, and play on weekends and holidays. Nobody gets everything they want, but everyone gets something they need. That's fair. That's sharing. Vote YES on G. San Francisco can share and compromise. 💚 What's a Compromise? greathighwayforeveryone.com/ Need a window sign? docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F… Follow the money. campaign.sfethics.org/electi…

San Francisco: it's common for YIMBYs to put a target on middle class neighborhoods for destruction. The say, "since you didn't remodel your homes to my standard, your neighborhood should not exist!" Notice how they never offer up the rich neighborhoods like Pacific Heights for destruction. It's always the people with the least means to defend themselves, that don't have the cash to make their homes look fancy, that they target.
Western SF on the street level actually looks like a developing city in Latin America but you pay $2 million to live there.

Sad. The sand Dunes is now a race track for reckless cyclists who killed a girl and injured a woman with baby. Don’t forget who initiated it: Joel Engardio and his boss Scott Wiener.
Notice the empty bike path to the right. Maybe 25 people playing on the entire road("park"), when it could have been carrying hundreds in the same span of time to their jobs, camps, veterans appointments, etc... This just looks entitled and selfish. Excited to support a compromise that benefits the entire community. @openthegreathwy @openlakestreet

Anthropic: > $40M in Public First Action Nonprofit (unauditable) > Public First Action gives $3.5M to Abundant Future > Abundant Future spends $3.5M on Wiener’s congress run Wiener at the debate: “There is NO Anthropic money in this race” We’re so smart! Get groped, losers!
An AI policy group backed by Anthropic has put another $3 million in outside spending behind Democratic California state Sen. Scott Wiener to succeed former Speaker Nancy Pelosi. @BenBrodyDC has the story: punchbowl.news/article/tech/…

Look at the pay for execs and mid management at MUNI. They don’t need more taxpayer money, they need to live within their means. They spend millions on salaries — they could get rid of most of these positions. Stop spending on special projects and stop giving millions to the activists at @sfbike — if they don’t get the handout they’ll have to figure out how to be more efficient.

38r Geary is completely packed today. Can’t wait for transit funding to fail so we can make it more efficient with less money. No I don’t believe this. This is stupid. Don’t defund transit please.
