“Gen Zs have been insulted a lot. I worked at UBA for over three years, and this was a major issue when the policy was introduced. People blamed the girl, instead of calling out the organisation for introducing a policy they cannot abide by.” — Lady

Every perspective on this “Good morning, Tony” conversation has some merit. It is wrong to assume that addressing an elderly or superior person by their first name is automatically acceptable simply because one works in a corporate environment. Respect does not become obsolete at the entrance of a bank. At the same time, it is also unfair to condemn the lady outright. In banking and finance, first-name culture is often institutionalised. People are trained to address colleagues and even superiors by their first names, irrespective of hierarchy. What may sound disrespectful in one setting is, in another, simply professional convention. That is where discretion comes in. I would therefore hesitate to make a character judgment about the lady based on that single interaction. She may well have been hesitant herself, but chose to conduct herself according to the professional culture she had been taught. One interaction is not enough evidence to determine a person's culture of respect, reverence or upbringing. That conclusion would be too harsh, and frankly, too early. If anyone deserves scrutiny here, perhaps it is the industry that has institutionalised this culture in the first place. And maybe that is the most useful thing about this conversation. It creates an opportunity to examine the intersection between corporate professionalism and our deeply rooted African culture of respect for age and hierarchy. Modern professionalism should not require us to abandon the values that shaped us. Perhaps the real question is not whether “Good morning, Tony” is right or wrong, but whether the industry has become so accustomed to one form of professionalism that it has forgotten that respect can have different cultural expressions. It is good that this conversation is happening. At the very least, it gives our culture of respect a seat at the table.

I've seen this, and I know this: The fastest road to success is still the oldest road — teamwork and division of labour. For example, let's say there are four of us. We're all broke and in urgent need of cash. We all know that if we can collectively reach out to 1,000 prospective clients every month, we should be able to get at least 10 conversions, with each client paying a minimum of $300. That's $3,000 in revenue every month. And we know the process can be broken into three phases: 1. Lead Generation 2. Cold Outreach & Follow-up 3. Delivery The first two phases account for roughly 50% of the work — so one person handles lead generation while another handles outreach and follow-up. The remaining two people focus on the other 50% — delivery. At the end of the month, the $3,000 is shared equally: $3,000 ÷ 4 = $750 each. Then you rinse and repeat. Do that consistently for a few months, and you're no longer four broke individuals trying to figure things out alone. You're four people with a functioning revenue-generating system. And the beautiful thing is that the same model can be applied to almost any niche: Find the leads → Reach out → Convert → Deliver → Repeat. You don't necessarily need four people with the same skills. You need four people with complementary skills, a shared target, clearly defined responsibilities, and a system for sharing the revenue. Collaboration remains one of the fastest ways to turn individual effort into financial results.

ahahahha...I'm not one to give up easily, but I don't believe I will ever know how to
Finally learnt how to knot a tie. A big win for me. And all it took was believing I could do it when I had to knot my son's tie & I couldn't escape it. Makes me wonder how much we are unable to learn simply because we believe we can't.

Man was never intended by God to be superior to a woman and vice versa The headship of man in the home (marriage) is administrative. Knowing this from the intent of God at creation is to never see a gender as better or greater. Just two opposite sexes co-existing in a fashionable and orderly world, working together and complementing each other.
Replying to @arojinle1
The funniest thing about gender wars is that both sides keep trying to prove they're superior while relying on the other every day. Maybe the goal was never competition. Maybe it was cooperation.

That’s exactly what every single person in the Nigerian armed forces does for the country. Let’s learn to appreciate them for their service 🙏🏼
Can you sacrifice your life for the greater good of Nigeria?

This is Sunday Morning Another time and day in Church meetings A new month as well All believers Must give account of their lives and ministries to the Lord We shall all be judged Paul teaches that we judge ourselves How would you judge the last month? How punctual were you? Did you reach out to the unsaved? How many invitees did you have last month How much did you give through the month Did you make church prayer meetings? How many teaching tracks did you listen to? What was your contribution to your department? How many did you meet their needs in your local church? If you find these questions awkward, then get prepared to be in tears at the judgment seat of Christ as more intricate things will come to the fore , However, there's a new month to make adjustments. Start today,go through last week's teaching Draw a plan on how you will listen to a teaching track at least weekly Invite someone each week Win a soul weekly and see to it that they get established in church Hurry up now Pick someone for service or call them up Don't miss pre service prayers Pray the pauline prayers, this morning Philemon 6 Remember to take writing materials And oops, pray for pastor too Have an excellent service I will too I call you blessed

How to use LIVINGWORD MEDIA (livingwordmedia.org) 1) Study all the subjects Don't be selective ,the manner teaching is done in Saints Community Church is such that you don't underestimate any title ,most if not All are core doctrinal subjects. Start with the singles titles 2) Be systematic , Where a series is five in number ,ensure you start from series one ,don't be in a hurry . We teach with much foundation laying . Starting from the top will confuse you and your audience . For example ,start from 2011 not 2016 ! I think that's sensible and logical . Where you need to listen to a 2016 teaching have it on your mind ,somewhere earlier ,certain foundation had been laid . 3) pay attention Where another teaching is mentioned during one, make sure you go back to that ,this is very critical . Bible study must be deliberate not coincidental . "So great salvation "for example has five parts ,start from one ! And within it you will find several references ,like forgiveness of sins ,ensure you listen to it Let me advise you ,no matter how you do it, you can't exhaust the website whilst I am still around ( which is for many several decades ),take that to the bank ! I promise you consistency and endurance in His name So no one is competing with each other ,I play my part ,you play yours Lastly 4) I beg you and beseech you for Christ's sake and the flock ,do not teach any thing you are just getting to know ,it might take you a while to understand ,as it did me. This is a charismatic miasma, the allure for limelight is so strong in our midst ,we just want to be known . This will eventually tell on you and the flock and is the reason many don't stay for long with truths . Be patient . No "Mogism". Don't create much mess for others to clean up . Don't say what you didn't hear me or those who teach you say or have said For example ,I had to caution a fellow ,younger minister who is on tv about a statement credited to him about salvation . Have you ever heard me say that ? He said no. So you wanted to wow your audience with exuberance and the true message gets lost ! Don't over reach yourself . If you love the flock ,you won't teach this way nor rush them . There is no competition ,say after me ,there is no competition ! If you know me I am very patient in and with subjects ,I can take five to six years to explain a basic concept . Please take this lead . We trust God that shortly, a million ministers of the Word and Spirit will cover the earth . Trust this helps . I call you blessed #chrissegunonayinka #saintscommunitychurch

Federal government - Make the macro stable for the state and local governments to consolidate on State and Local governments - Bring governance directly to the people. It is here you can mostly say "I feel and see the impact of government" Irrespective of who wins 2027, no tangible change will happen in your daily life if your states and local governments don't sit up
No matter who becomes or is president, will need the state and local government to drive micro economic growth and development, the idea that it’s or can be a one man show is untrue and unsustainable

As far as these changes we’re done just 3years ago, we must be ready to bear the consequences of change, bulk of the responsibility to cushion the effects of these changes are by common sense your state and local government’s, demand more from them

I'm very in for the structural reforms I appreciate how empowered the states and local governments have been However, there's little to nothing to mention, of how this administration has improved anyone's quality of life on individual notes
Tinubu's administration has not achieved one meaningful thing that betters the lives of Nigerians in Nigeria. Not one, as far as I am concerned.
