At £1,214, the UK child citizenship fee remains one of the highest in Europe.
Many kids with the right to citizenship miss out because their families cannot afford it.
It was great to meet with @LambethCitizens to discuss our ongoing campaign to reduce these fees.

ALT A group of nine people stand together in a well-lit room, dressed in winter clothing. Bell Ribeiro-Addy, MP for Clapham & Brixton Hill, stands in the middle of the group holding a bouquet of flowers. Behind them is a bulletin board labelled “Salah” with colourful papers and images. Tables in the foreground hold disposable cups, a phone, and papers. The setting appears to be a classroom or meeting space.

@BrixtonBlog @brixtonbuzz this property was a Lambeth Council halfway house housing vulnerable adults- until recently. Just seen it privately for sale now selling for over £1M. Surely selling off property that stops spending £ on hotels/hostels is an own goal? Wheres the £ going?
