Surely for the love of God boxing doesn't need this level of over analysis. You get the fighters active and in competitive fights. That is it. People will tune in.

I thought the same then saw a post listing Joyce, Chisora, Miller and a few others. All absolutely winnable fights for good purses. Wardley's own style was never going to lead to longevity but plenty of good options out there for him. Especially considering he has only lost to 1 man.

Give Dubois his flowers, but credit Fabio Wardley. He gate crashed pro boxing, claimed a British championship, put himself into position to be a world titleholder, and was one half of two of the most entertaining all-British heavyweight wars in the past decade. He is just amazing! 🇬🇧🥊🇬🇧

Tyson boxed 4 months after Douglas. Bowe boxed 3 months after Holyfield 1. Eubank Snr- Thompson rematch was 3 months after the first. Amir Khan was back in the ring 3 months after Prescott.

The squad is borderline championship level. Gone from Osula, Murphy, Willock being backup to starting players. None of the new signings have shown anywhere near enough. Long season ahead, whoever is in charge.

The way the first fight went too. Wardley had him in bother but the longer it went on, the more DDD had him sussed. This was just a continuation of that.
