Hamas is evil but here is a little context
This is currently happening all over Gaza and happens every couple of years
Gaza is a 25 mile long 5 mile wide area with over 2 million people
They aren't allowed to leave and Israel controls everything that goes in including food, water, and medical supplies
They were forced here after having their homes and land stolen
Gaza has basically no functioning economy or natural resources
The UN and almost every other human rights organization have condemned Isreal for violating the Geneva Convention
