Thank God we at least have one guy who can put the puck in the net. Glad to see the Cat is staying put.
🚨 SIGNED: The Detroit Red Wings make it official: Alex DeBrincat is staying in Hockeytown through 2033-34, 7 years x $13 million.
Per @PuckPedia: full NTC in years 1-4, 10 team trade list in year 5, 18 team M-NTC in year 6, 13 team M-NTC in year 7. #LGRW
How're we feeling? ⤵️
I truly would like to know what Scott Harris was watching in the ALDS last year. The only Tiger that came through in Game 5 was Carp. If I recall correctly, Harris himself said the lineup needed a right handed bat & he proceeded to sign pitchers and no bats. This guy is an idiot.
What happened to getting to getting “big money” out of politics?
UPDATE: Per @DSA_Watch, CAIR's Unity & Justice Fund gave Abdul El-Sayed a generous $400,000 donation on 9/19/2026. I thought this guy didn't like Super PAC money? Want to know what else is hypocritical about Mr. El-Sayed? Read my full report below. 👇
IT’S 👏🏻ABOUT👏🏻TIME👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
BREAKING: The Red Wings have notified Dylan Larkin of their plans to strip him of his captaincy, and sit him the entire year until a trade is materialized. 🚨🚨
Huge turn of events for Detroit, who have a pretty dark future ahead of them. #LGRW
I hope Scott Harris is happy, another lead blown by his prized offseason signing, padding that lead league of most games lost by their bullpen. #Pain

So...
Illitch vetoed Yzerman & now Horcoff (Mantha), when trying to sign top free agents??
Larkin aimed his frustration at front office for not adding top talent that year in his 2024-25 post-season press conference...
Was this an Yzerman problem?
...or an Illitch problem?

Well...
Regardless of how the consequences of Stamkos' contract would have impacted DET in future...
-DET makes the playoffs this past season
-Larkin wouldn't have gave up on team & requested a trade
-Kane returns
-Yzerman isn't fired
-fans happier??
Can't blame Yzerman here...
Who in their right mind would want this guy to have anything to do with them getting elected? What good does this rhetoric do? Absolutely ridiculous & disgusting…

Well after today let’s be honest. The Tigers are not a good baseball team. The American League is not a good baseball league. If there was ever a get on the dance floor and see what happens season it’s this. The Tigers just have too many holes to push the chips in and go for it this year, and as many know I am strong win now guy and can’t stand hearing wait for next year. If Harris and company do decide to go for it, the additions need to be strong. You have a not so good defense, nowhere near a playoff bullpen and an offense that comes and goes that needs help. It’s a lot.

Fans can criticize the Tigers' pitching all they want, but let's be honest about the bigger picture. Pitchers like Jack Flaherty have had success here, and young arms such as Ty Madden have shown promise when called upon. Chris Fetter has built a reputation as one of the better pitching coaches in baseball. If the Tigers fired him tomorrow, another organization would hire him in a heartbeat.
The real problem starts at the top.
Until fans start holding Chris Ilitch and Scott Harris accountable, nothing is going to change. Firing Fetter doesn't solve the organization's biggest issue.
Everyone knew this team needed more offense heading into the season. Instead of aggressively pursuing impact bats, fans were told that improvement would come from within. We heard the same talking points about player development and internal growth while obvious holes in the lineup remained unaddressed.
At some point, excuses have to give way to results.
If fans want real change, the conversation shouldn't start with the pitching coach. It should start with the front office's roster construction and ownership's willingness to invest in building a championship-caliber team.
Couldn’t have said it better. Hard to complain about the state of college sports when you used it to your advantage.
Beware of takes that declare Dusty May's decision as an indictment of the state of college sports. May was crushing it in college and genuinely enjoying himself. Had Michigan set up for long-term success. The only thing this move proves is that Dusty May wanted to coach the Dallas Mavericks. Doesn't have to be any more complicated than that.
My thoughts exactly
I love Dusty May, I had a feeling this would happen soon but I was hoping not this year. I hate this, but it’s the new world of college sports, players and coaches have zero allegiances to the schools. It’s all about the money.
Harris looks like a Temu version of Theo Epstein with a bad Doc Brown haircut. #1point21gigawatts
Image if Scott Harris actually made this offense better via trade or FA this off -season 🙃
