Taylor Sheridan asked for $20,000 per episode on Sons of Anarchy and was told he could be replaced tomorrow. Years later, after creating Yellowstone, he was charging Paramount up to $50,000 a week to film on his ranches.
Sheridan played Deputy David Hale for two seasons before asking to be paid the same $20,000 per episode as other supporting cast members.
instead, the studio offered him $15,000 per episode with only 10 episodes guaranteed.
When his lawyer pushed back, Sheridan recalled an executive telling him there were plenty of actors like him, adding, "I can recast that guy tomorrow"
Sheridan rejected the offer, and his character was killed off in the Season 3 premiere.
He went on to write Sicario and Hell or High Water before creating Yellowstone in 2018.
by 2023, The Wall Street Journal reported that Paramount was paying up to $50,000 per week to film at Sheridan's Texas ranches.
He was also charging $25 per head for cattle used in productions and billed Paramount $214,979 for a weeklong cowboy training camp for actors
Those fees were separate from his payments for writing and producing his shows.

O esnada Android de Palo Alto civarlarında zaten geliştirilmekteydi. Apple'ın bu hamlesini görünce o da girdi markete. Fakat eksik olduğu şey donanımdı. Apple'ın donanım ve yazılım tecrübesi zaten vardı. Android ise birkaç başarısız denemeden sonra donanımı işin ehline bırakıp sadece işletim sistemine odaklandı.
Amaç şuydu: telefon markaları telefon üretmeye devam edecek, fakat apple ile yarışmak için aynı kalitede bir yazılım kullanacak. Bu yüzden açık kaynak olarak geliştirdi. Başarılı oldu da. Ama Nokia kibirliydi. Symbian OS zaten popülerdi, onu kullanmakta ısrar etti. Fakat android ve apple'a yetişemedi.
