Women are so jealous. I bet Eve counted Adam's ribs everyday to see if another woman had been created.

Unearthed video: Bill Clinton praises the 2007 University of Michigan senior speaker, Abdul El-Sayed, on his commencement speech
"I don't want to embarrass your senior speaker. But I wish every person in the world who believes that we are fated to have a clash of civilizations and cannot reach across the religious divides could've heard you speak today. I just wish every person in the world could've heard you speak today."

It has taken me years to finally afford the console, setup and games I've always wanted. Alafu mtu anakuja kuniuliza, "30-year-old unafanya nini na console?"
My friend, I'm living my childhood dream, just with adult money.
Na wacha hiyo PS, hata gaming PC na Nintendo tutanunua so we can game on the move. We didn't work this hard just to afford bills.

We got your back, New York!
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Several figures here aren’t federal results or NY-specific. The $472B combines US wide pledges: Micron's $250B is nationwide (NY site $100B) Anthropic's $50B covers TX and NY. The 48% murder drop is from NY's state run GIVE program (28 departments, Jan – May 2026).

Almost everything we build - we hand all the money to foreigners. Hence our infrastructure projects don't do much locally.
The only one where we're using locals is the infrastructure that will have minimal economic impact because it's a white elephant - avoidable housing.
Replying to @denniskioko
You raise a strong point. Leave alone 10%
Actually 15% and have a local qualified company like H young build it
- NSSF gets good return for retirees
- H young is taxed locally and employs local guys
- local consultant does the design
- No Forex risk
- All money circulates locally

Weka sacco 500k na Anyday you can walk in and walk out with 400k within minutes bila guarantor. Na bado hiyo tano unabaki nayo.
In a bank, I only need a payslip to get a loan.
In a SACCO, if you need 600k loan, you will be required to first give the sacco 200k and thereafter go through out the village collecting signatures like someone who is initiating a referendum.
And I have never understood; I am in need of 600k, unaniambia niweke 200k kwako kwanza ili unipatie 600k......si hapo ni kumaanisha umenipatia 400k?
but ikifika ni interest, you calculate it based on 600k and not 400k and you want me to say SACCOs are good?

If you love sherehe, Thika Road is your place.
If you’re more family-oriented and prefer a quieter lifestyle, Waiyaki Way is worth considering. If you want a bit of both, with access to clubbing and a family-friendly environment, Kiambu Road is a good middle ground.
If convenience to work is your priority, I’d pick Kileleshwa over Kilimani. Kilimani has its fair share of noise and water issues.
If you’re working with a middle-class budget, look at Lower Kabete, Limuru Road, Ngong Road and Naivasha Road.
If city life isn’t your thing, consider Tigoni, Tilisi, Banana and Gikambura.
If you love being around both domestic and wild animals, Rongai might interest you. Ngong, on the other hand, is for people with the patience to deal with traffic.
Now, if money isn’t a problem, my picks would be Loresho, Nyari Estate, Kitisuru, Spring Valley, Karen, Runda and Gigiri, in that exact order.
Lakini kama wewe ni president, State House Nakuru nayo. Life huko ni slow, pressure kidogo. 😂

Contractors absence from Site despite having been paid; lack of key contract staff are delaying Completion of Projects and will not be tolerated.
When a contractor is absent from a site even after payments have been made, the site engineer must take immediate steps to document the situation, maintain quality control, and protect the project schedule. Contractual clauses have to be invoked.
