I think a lot of you have absolutely zero idea how pervasive slang and language originating on 4chan actually is. The 2nd poster in this image has the name "cognitohazardous". The term Cognitohazard originates from the SCP fandom, which was founded on 4chan.

I'm almost done with James Branch Cabell's Jurgen: A Comedy of Justice, which is about a medieval pawnbroker having a mid-life crisis and whoring around His name was completely unknown to me, but back in the 20s he was one of the biggest writers in the US. A fantasy novelist!
