Now would be a good time to remind everyone of these Trump facts, because apparently some people still need the refresher. Please meet the President of the United States: Flew on Epstein’s plane at least seven times. Just friends, I guess. Pleaded the Fifth more than 400 times in a single deposition. Nothing says “innocent” like refusing to answer a single question about your own business. 34 felony convictions. A record most people would call disqualifying. And 91 criminal charges. Accused of sexual misconduct or assault by at least 26 women. But sure, tell me again how he’s a great guy. 6 corporate bankruptcies. The self proclaimed greatest businessman alive somehow keeps running out of money. 5 draft deferments. Funny how the toughest guy in the room never actually showed up for duty. He said "not for me" when asked to defend his country. 4 criminal indictments. Not two. Not three. Four . 2 impeachments. A club of exactly one president. 2 of his own companies convicted of criminal tax fraud. Convicted. Not accused. Convicted. 1 fake university shut down. 1 fake charity shut down. Even his charity was a grift. Paid 25 million dollars to settle the Trump University fraud lawsuit because scamming people who believed in you costs money eventually. Ordered to pay 5 million dollars in the first E Jean Carroll sexual abuse verdict, then hit with 83.3 million more in the second. A jury said it twice so nobody could pretend it was a fluke. Ordered to pay 2 million dollars for looting his own so called charity. Stealing from a charity with his own name on it. Found liable for business fraud and originally slapped with a penalty topping 450 million dollars, later thrown out on appeal while the fraud finding itself stuck to him anyway. First president in modern history to increase the deficit every single year of a full term. Fiscal responsibility, apparently, was always just a talking point. HE PERSONALLY OWNS 30% OF THE NATIONAL DEBT. Kept the debt to GDP ratio above 100 percent for his entire first term. Presided over the largest single day point drop in Dow Jones history at the time. So much for the guy who claimed to be a genius with money. Set the record for the longest government shutdown in US history in his first term at 35 days, then couldn’t resist beating his own miserable record in his second term with a 43 day shutdown, followed by yet another shutdown just months later. Encore nobody asked for. ONLY PRESIDENT WITH THREE GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWNS. Added roughly 2.25 trillion dollars to the national debt in his first year back in office alone, pushing the debt past 39 trillion dollars. Somebody remind me who the party of fiscal discipline is again. Pushed through the largest defense budget increase since World War Two while the debt kept climbing anyway. Purged more than 300,000 federal employees in his first year back. Efficient, if your goal is chaos. Pardoned nearly 1,600 January 6 Capitol rioters on his very first day back in office, including Oath Keepers and Proud Boys leaders convicted of seditious conspiracy. Law and order, except when it’s inconvenient. At least 400 of those pardoned rioters have already been rearrested, charged, or sentenced for new crimes since walking free. Shocking absolutely nobody. His family’s crypto ventures, including a meme coin and World Liberty Financial, pulled in more than 1.4 billion dollars in disclosed earnings while he sat in the Oval Office. Draining the swamp was apparently code for filling his own pockets. Sent the National Guard into American cities at a cost of nearly 500 million taxpayer dollars in 2025 alone. Then bragged about lower crime rates in said states. His own tariffs are projected to cost the average American household more than 2,500 dollars this year. You’re paying for this. Not China. You. No more foreign wars. Peace deal with Russia and Ukraine on Day One. Now sitting at one of the lowest approval ratings of his second term, stuck in the high 30s while inflation and gas prices make everyday life harder. None of this is a conspiracy theory, a rumor, or something you saw in a group chat. It is the actual, documented record, sitting in plain sight for anyone willing to look. So the next time someone tells you to relax and give him a chance, ask them how many more indictments, judgments, and shutdown records he needs to rack up before that chance runs out. Robert S Warner

In 2016 the Conservative Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond said, "The only country that would like us to leave the EU is Russia" In 2026 the former Head of MI6 Sir John Sawers said, "Russia was very keen that the Leave campaign should succeed and that Britain should leave the European Union. Because that would marginalise Britain as a global player and weaken Europe in general" "That's the strategic opportunity the Russians spotted, and the leaders of the Leave campaign fell into it" My view: The warning was there before the referendum: Moscow had a clear interest in Britain breaking with Europe. A decade later, a former head of MI6 has explained why — a divided Europe and a Britain pushed to the margins would serve Russia’s strategic interests. It does show that the Kremlin saw Brexit as an opportunity to weaken both Britain and the European Union, and was keen for Leave to win. The damage was predictable: less British influence in Europe, more friction between allies and a weaker collective response to Russian aggression. Brexit handed Moscow the kind of division it wanted. The leaders of Leave may have believed they were restoring Britain’s power. In reality, they pursued a course that played directly into Russia’s hands, and the country is still living with the consequences: weaker, worse off, with escalated societal tensions.

So let’s remember who sold it: VOTE LEAVE • Boris Johnson — political figurehead • Michael Gove and Gisela Stuart — campaign committee co-convenors • Matthew Elliott — chief executive • Dominic Cummings — campaign director • Daniel Hannan — leading Brexit advocate • Priti Patel, Iain Duncan Smith, Chris Grayling, John Whittingdale and Theresa Villiers — senior Conservative campaigners • David Davis, Liam Fox, Dominic Raab, Steve Baker and Douglas Carswell — prominent Leave campaigners LEAVE. EU • Nigel Farage — leading political figure • Arron Banks — co-chairman and major funder • Andy Wigmore — communications director GRASSROOTS OUT / LABOUR LEAVE • Peter Bone and Tom Pursglove — Grassroots Out co-founders • Kate Hoey — Grassroots Out co-founder and Labour Leave campaigner • Graham Stringer, Kelvin Hopkins and Roger Godsiff — Labour Leave campaigners • Sammy Wilson — prominent DUP Leave campaigner They promised Brexit would make Britain stronger. Sawers says Russia saw the opposite opportunity: a Britain marginalised and a Europe weakened.

“Basically, you're done, Trump. You're done, Hegseth. It won't be long before you're politically thrown down that dark, deep hole.” - Lieutenant Colonel Malcom Ritchie (retired) from the U.S. Army Reserve. “…. And I'm here today, not as a candidate, making that disclaimer. I am here to express my outrage at the meeting in Quantico, Virginia between Hegseth, Trump, and all of the senior officers in the United States military and the senior NCO corps. Those generals, Admirals, and senior NCOs sat there in stone face silence, listening to the most outrageous speeches ever made in United States military history by the Secretary of Defense and the President of the United States. Secretary of Defense on his this ridiculous rant. Trying to take to school, Generals, Admirals, senior NCOs with 10 times the leadership ability, the education and the experience. that the failed Major Hech could ever begin to understand. And then they have to listen to the cognitively declined President of the United States who I would now name as dictator of the United States. tell all this audience that they will be expected to wage war against the American people. That's exactly what Trump said. So don't get on here and try to tell me that he didn't say it. training grounds in American cities. What's that mean? They're going to go in locked and loaded into American cities, American neighborhoods and use American citizens as pop-up targets on a live fire training. range, This is absolutely astounding. Abuse of power which makes by my estimation Donald Trump a domestic enemy of the Constitution. Because my oath is to the Constitution and don't you think for one minute, Mr. Trump, that there aren't millions of other veterans and retirees that feel exactly the same way. We are enraged, we are beyond enraged, and we will protest peacefully. And we will go out and vote for the candidates of our choice in the 2026 midterm election, which you better not even try to stop. If you try to stop that by force, that's the nightmare scenario. And I'm not saying by violence, I'm saying politically. Basically, you're done, Trump. You're done, Hegseth. It won't be long before you're politically thrown down that dark, deep hole. But don't think it's not going to cause a lot of trauma on the American people, as they clutch to the roots of the hole on the way down, trying to survive something that they cannot possibly survive because this nation is a republic and it will not fall to a fascist regime.”

🚨 LISTEN 🎧 Extraordinary economic assessment of Brexit on @theJeremyVine from Mohamed El-Erian, chief economic adviser at Allianz: “What Brexit was 👉it was blowing up the most important trading relationship and replacing it with nothing. Economists will tell you: be very careful when you try to replace something with nothing.” He suggests that better planning might have reduced some of the damage. But the fundamental problem remains: “We’ve lost our major market.” And what could Britain realistically have replaced it with? Nothing else offers the scale, proximity and integrated supply chains of Europe. The lack of a credible replacement was not merely a failure of planning, it was the fatal flaw at the heart of Brexit.

🇬🇧 Westminster kept the Brexit cupboard firmly marked “DO NOT OPEN”. Now Andy Burnham has opened it and out tumble the unicorns, the £350 million bus, the blue passports, “Brexit means Brexit” and endless cries of “the will of the people”. All the props and slogans of Britain’s greatest political confidence trick. Notice what isn’t inside: a single tangible Brexit benefit. The door is open now. The country can finally clear out the wreckage. 🇬🇧🇪🇺

‼️ Jim Ratcliffe: 🔹 Backed Brexit 🔹 Moved his tax residence to Monaco 🔹 Abandoned plans to build the British 🇬🇧 Grenadier in Wales and moved production to France 🔹 Now lectures Britain from Denmark about why the country is on the slide And who does he blame? Immigrants and people on benefits. The billionaires who helped hollow Britain out always point down, never at Brexit, tax flight, chronic underinvestment or their own decisions. *Toughness* seems to mean somebody poorer paying the price.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe says he has lost confidence in the UK, describing the country as "on the slide". "Nobody's tough enough to deal with the immigration problem. Nobody's tough enough to deal with the benefits problem. But somebody needs to do it." [BBC]

2016: Nigel Farage says that if we Brexit other countries will also leave the EU 2026: Canada's Mark Carney accepts the Ursula von der Leyen's invite to explore becoming the first Associate Member of the European Union My commentary: Ten years ago, Farage predicted other countries would follow Britain out of the EU. They didn’t. Britain is still the only country ever to have left the European Union. Ukraine wants in. Moldova wants in. Montenegro wants in. Albania wants in. And now Canada, separated from Europe by the Atlantic Ocean, wants a relationship that brings it closer. After the referendum many politicians used Brexit as a way to get into office. Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Rishi Sunak, even Keir Starmer, all wanted to make Brexit work despite knowing the damage it was causing the country. They couldn’t be honest about the impact it is having. And its embarrassing to share this clip of Liz Truss from 2016 also pointing out, "People will be permanently poorer." In a world consumed by Trump and Putin, is it any wonder that so many countries are trying to get closer to the European Union? Perhaps after ten years, the question Britain should be asking is not why nobody followed us out. The question is, when will political discourse in the UK be honest enough to acknowledge the mistake, and correct it by rejoining the EU?

🎣 Remember when 🇬🇧 fishing was the poster child for Brexit? Boris Johnson told a Brixham fish merchant to hire more staff because once we’d “taken the fish off the French” he’d be overwhelmed with business. Seven years later, the promised bonanza never arrived. More than 60% of UK seafood exports still go to the EU. Export volumes were still 14% below 2020 levels in 2025, while exporters grapple with veterinary certificates, customs paperwork and tax rules. And fishermen now say migrant workers are essential because they can’t recruit enough Britons. One skipper puts it perfectly: without his foreign crew, “we wouldn’t be going to sea”. Brexit promised fishermen control of the waters. Nobody thought sufficiently about who would crew the boats 👉or who would buy the fish. That is Brexit in miniature.

My Lord. @JoeBiden, 83 years old, battling Stage 4 cancer that has spread to his bones, stood for HOURS alongside @DrBiden as the names of 9/11 victims were read. Donald Trump fell asleep at the 9/11 event at the Pentagon. One showed respect despite his pain. The other couldn't even stay awake. Trump is an embarrassment to the nation and the office he holds. Really says it all.
