theres this idea in the media that if netanyahu loses his election that israel is going to become acceptable to support again, as he is singularly the problem. but if you look into the election you find out every single opposition party is casting him as "too weak on palestine"

I think these protests are effective because they expose liberal psychopathy of valuing objects more than human life

while it's obvious this is a republican op, i think it's just sad in general that "trans kids deserve support and shouldn't have to suffer abuse from their bigoted parents" is such a controversial message that even liberals come out and say "uhhhh no we don't agree with that!"

Russia is the most comprehensively sanctioned country in contemporary history whose sanctions regime is now only slightly being eased because a war directly related to the Palestinian issue caused a global oil crisis.
Replying to @Akemi_Tsukime
If Palestine were a little bit whited by color skin and supported by most Europe countries (cause USA don’t even support us anymore its quite opposite and economy doesn’t become better for them lmao) they would support Isreal and make it s trend right away, like with russia

everyone going "but your credit score!" as if "but you have to constantly put yourself in small amounts of debt to prove to the debt merchants that you're a good, profitable little debtslave" isn't the most pathetic thing imaginable

The central issue that they never address: there are NO JOBS. Always the working people are blamed, derisively called "NEETs", accused of having no skills, of not taking opportunities. But employers are never asked to actually create decent jobs for them!
Exclusive:
Britain is facing an “economic catastrophe and moral failure” because a generation of young people is being written off to a life on benefits, the prime minister has said.
Andy Burnham writes for The Times that the time has come for Britain to “invest in the success of our young people” rather than “pay for failure through the benefits system”.
Setting out his vision for the fundamental reform of welfare, he said the present scheme provided “an assessment, a payment and, after that, a goodbye”, with no support, skills or help getting a job.
In future, Burnham promised, the government would offer a “clear guarantee” of support, starting in schools, to address the almost one million 16 to 24-year-olds not in education, employment or training, known as Neets.
Every young person would be guaranteed a technical pathway, work placements, apprenticeships and the skills they needed to find a job, Burnham said.
However, he cautioned that this would be matched by an expectation that young people would take up the opportunities available to them. He added that under the new system, benefits would become a “backstop” rather than the “starting point” for young people.
His comments come a week after the launch of The Times Welfare Inquiry, a six-month investigation into how the welfare state is working and failing.

the fact they make an exception for "dr frank-n-furter" and people who "use it in a dr frank-n-furter way" in the comments is genuinely such a fascinating look into how regressive and conservative these people r even when they pretend theyre being woke

Every night, Israeli soldiers fire bullets at the tents of displaced Palestinians for entertainment, and Palestinian civilians are killed day after day while sleeping inside their tents.
Tonight, an innocent little girl Misk Al-Dalo was killed, becoming yet another victim of Israeli brutality in Gaza.
Please share this video in every language so the world can see what is happening and this senseless killing of Palestinian lives can finally stop.

People call Digger a “hate letter to cinema” but it’s just Iñárritu confronting the fact that being a director and saying he’s going to make a film to combat the climate crisis is functionally identical to a baker saying he’s going to bake a cake to combat the climate crisis.
