Can we get Bush to do a painting of this moment, from his perspective?

My body at 8:00 AM on a workday:
- Quit immediately
- Disappear off the grid
- Befriend the crows
- Return to nature

Listening to the jurors say “enough science BS I want to hear a family member say she was a good person before she killed her kids.”
Extended Interview Clips with NBC10 Boston:
Kellie Farina, Juror: “We were appreciative that Kevin didn’t delay the trial two more weeks with what you know, bringing in other doctors. I mean, you could only listen to so much of that. Kevin was really, really shot from his heart. Um, again, the prosecution had no witness to question her credibility. He brought all these people in, people that lived her: Family, her in-laws, I mean, even Patrick was very compassionate. So we just really appreciated the fact that he didnt just delay and drag it on with more medical BS and get more to the point of WHO LINDSAY WAS AND WHAT HER LIFE WAS LIKE.”
I’m sorry, did I hear this correctly? They just wanted to hear “who Lindsay was and what her life was like?” Is that what we’re doing here? Is that what this trial is about? Unreal.

The man who invented the klaxon horn (and its loud AHOOGA sound) also invented the first electric hearing aid.

In 1988 Dolly Parton pulled every 7th and 8th grader in Sevier County into a room and told them to pick a buddy.
She made them sign a contract.. if BOTH graduate, she hands you both $500. One fails, nobody gets paid.
The county dropout rate went from 35% to 6%.
She handed out the checks herself.
In 1989 she offered $500 to every kid in the county who wanted to go to the local college.
When Gatlinburg burned in 2016, she sent 900 families $1,000 a month for six months.
You've probably heard that part.
Here's the part you haven't:
The fund raised more than expected, so she showed up in May and handed every one of those families another $5,000 on top.
Then she quietly put $3 million into the recovery group that handles the years after the news trucks leave.
She built her county an entire hospital.
She played a benefit concert in 2007, Dollywood and the Stampede matched it, and LeConte Medical Center opened in 2010 with a birthing unit and a women's center in it.
In 2022 she started covering 100% of tuition, books, and fees for Dollywood employees.
Full-time, part-time, AND seasonal.
In 1991 she paid for a bald eagle sanctuary because the birds couldn't be released back into the wild, no press release.
And when Hurricane Helene came through here in Western North Carolina, she wrote a personal check for $1 million and her companies matched it.
She didn't owe North Carolina anything, but she helped us anyway.
She started the Imagination Library because her daddy couldn't read or write. Before he passed, he told her it was the most important thing she ever did.
Rest in Peace, Dolly 🇺🇸

Pattern recognition might be my least favorite neurodivergent ability. “Oh… I see exactly where this is heading. Surely everyone else sees it too, right?”
Oh.
They don’t.
Guess I’ll just sit here in silent horror and watch the disaster unfold exactly as predicted.

I love how big food manufacturers finally got the deregulation they wanted and they couldn’t even play it cool.
Just an immediate “oh yeah we will totally contaminate your food with shit, glass, and disease if unmonitored. ☺️”

Call me crazy, but if we have to go ultra-slow-mo to see if the ball grazed one hair on a guy’s head to decide if a goal counts or not… it’s a really dumb rule.

Over-scrutinising football to the point of absurdity. It's killing the game, honestly. Nothing left to say.
