Meanwhile, I know that the law says S.6 or its equivalent but I am sure the law makers meant a passed S.6.. otherwise everyone who wants to stand for MP would continue up to S.6 and show a result slip with only Fs. But also @UNEB_UG needs to tell us how @SodoKaguta proceeded to the A’level with these results from S.4 and even offered a combination from the subjects that he had F9s in!!

Dear @UMIUganda, thanks for the traffic wardens for supporting the road crossing at the main gate... But how about something like this one👇👇 for the participants and staff of the mighty Institute?! Key stakeholders @KCCAUG @MoWT_Uganda, etc., please think about it.

We used to study enough about the country in Civics and SST. I remember the SST curriculum was as follows: P2- family P3- sub county P4- county P5- country (pre independence to post) P6- East African community P7- Africa If this was changed, it should be revised.
I recently learnt that S.6 vacists will undergo patriotism and ideological training. Having personally undergone similar training, I found that it broadened my perspective beyond my own community and encouraged me to think more deeply about Uganda as a whole. The experience made me reflect on citizenship, responsibility, service, and the role each of us can play in national development. Years later, those lessons continue to influence how I think about leadership, public service, and my responsibility as a Ugandan. For me, the lasting value of the programme was not simply attending it, but the habits of integrity, responsibility, and national awareness that I took away from it.

This is a premier league team playing in an unfinished stadium. If it was Africa, @CAF_Online would tell you that it doesn’t meet the required standards. We rate ourselves so high

If a man is at home all the time and he’s the breadwinner that’s a bad sign. And the problem of being a father is you can never get it 100%. If I give you time, we don’t have money; if I get the money, you don’t have me. I can’t be there and earn a living at the same time... and I have an obligation to make sure your life is better than mine. The difficult thing about being a Father is that everybody wants it NOW. The kid wants it NOW. The wife wants its NOW. The job wants it NOW. The opportunity is NOW.

From DREAM to REALITY Two weeks ago, as part of our resource mobilization strategy for #Bamutakudde Village, we announced a vision to launch Bamutakudde Catering Services an enterprise designed to create employment for 10-15 women in our community. I am thrilled to share a major milestone. Chef Godwin, a leading professional chef in Uganda, responded to our call. On Sunday, he and his team of 6 chefs volunteered a full day to train our women in professional culinary skills, including pilau rice preparation and professional fruit carving for catering. Beyond the training, Chef Godwin has committed to: 1. 10 full scholarships for 10 women for a 4-month professional culinary program 2. Donation of start-up equipment (saucepans, food warmers, dishes) 3. Strategic partnership on his major catering projects This is a powerful example of skills transfer, private sector - community partnership, and women's economic empowerment in action. Sincere gratitude to Chef Godwin and his team for investing in rural women. #SocialEnterprise #WomenEconomicEmpowerment

Dickson Sanyu worked as branch manager for Post Bank (now Pearl Bank) in Kabale. In 2021, even as he was battling COVID-19, the bank went ahead and set unrealistic targets for him. It even put him on PIP. When he failed to hit the targets, the bank dismissed him. He went to court. The bank’s lawyer, Blair Kalivayo, told the court that COVID-19 was not a valid excuse since Sanyu had performed well in similar conditions in late 2020. But Justice Musana was not moved, and he ordered the bank to pay Sanyu Shs 61 million for unfair and unlawful dismissal. bbegmedia.com/he-contracted-…

The unique beauty about parents and parenting! Dear Lord, your servant on whom you extended this same responsibility looks to you for providence and wisdom on the journey!🙏
This video will warm your hearts. See, a beautiful girl, respectful to her father, amiable to her mother. Her father gifted her the Quran, reminding her of her spiritual obligation here on earth. Her mother gave her jewellery, reminding her that she is beautiful and should keep her purity close to her heart. A daughter. A mother. A father. A happy family. An inspiring family.
