Fifty years since this lot first appeared on British television.
I’ve just tried calling 01-811-8055. The number isn’t recognised now. Shame.

In 1976, Multi-Coloured Swap Shop created the template that BBC Saturday morning kids TV would use, with tweaks for 40+ years. Even a few ITV Saturday morning kids shows like Saturday Banana would use it. I can remember when the number was 01-288-8055. #SwapShop50
My friend Jean made me this fabulous replica Posh Paws especially for the 50th Anniversary of Swap Shop. 🌈
