There’s a lot of changes happening in Europe and it can be daunting for artists who work or are planning to work on the continent. We’ve curated a selection of resources we feel will help you navigate #WorkingInEurope and we update it regularly. freelancersmaketheatrework.c…

I really, really, want to write a book called Middle Class Woman of a Certain Age - it's a brilliant title. It would be funny. There might be witches.

Delighted to announce Arts Council England have invited the Women in Theatre research project partners to a meeting to hear what actions they've decided to take to address the under-representation of women –after 5 yrs hard work this is a historic moment! bit.ly/historic_meeting

Can we start normalising older MCs (40+) in fantasy books because as much as I love the 20 something chosen one trope, I’d prefer more sword fighting mums & dads or older please. We need representation!

Are there any theatre spaces in the UK that specialise in writing by women & proudly interrogate issues effecting women. There are fabulous queer spaces & bold diverse theatre programmes but are there safe spaces for feminist content? 🤔 #feministtheatre #femalewriting

If the BBC are looking for new presenters who won’t bring them into disrepute may I respectfully suggest they employ more women over 50? We’ve spent a lifetime sorting out other people’s messes, can spot trouble a mile off and have no problem calling it out. You’re welcome.

All emerging writers schemes should include writers over 40 – writers can emerge at any age, and women writers especially are frequently prevented from taking up writing until later in life (as we well know)! theguardian.com/stage/articl…

It's always a bit nerve-wracking writing something then handing it over to actors and a director. As soon as I caught a glimpse of these three in rehearsals though, I knew they would smash it. And smash it they absolutely did! Thanks to everyone that came to watch. ❤

CHEERS!! It's the final performance of 'The Lie' this evening at @SalfordArts and there are some tickets available at the door. Why not come down and see what has been described as: "A brilliantly written political drama.... while also being VERY funny."
