Calling All Devs and Bitcoin Node Runners: Help me build the first Bitcoin Monetary Node!

I haven't been into Bitcoin too long (class of 2020), but the culture of late (since the core v30 fallout) has taught me a few things:
There's been cultural drift. Standing by the principles of Bitcoin as money and maintaining a hostile, adversarial stance towards fiat, made me just another Bitcoiner.
Now I'm a "Bitcoin Puritan" or a "Monetary Maximalist." The fact that these labels became necessary is enough indication the social layer has been corrupted or co-opted.
The ambivalence shown by a large segment of the influencers towards BIP-110 is surprising. People I've followed since I started my journey, who shaped my own thinking about Bitcoin have weirdly had their head stuck in the sand. In some way I feel duped, because the principles they preached, they are showing unwillingness to practice themselves when it really matters, and I feel they've been dishonest.
There was a shared understanding about what Bitcoin is, and what the mission is. There were beautiful philosophical discussions around Bitcoin, the project the protocol, the incentives, and how it would disrupt the fiat system, go toe-to-toe with it. Now the crowd is full of suitcoiners, those who introduced the idea that Bitcoin would trojan horse the existing system, but in doing so, made numerous trade-off's that gave Bitcoin legitimacy within the structure it's trying to disrupt. Death by a thousand concessions.
There was a shared understanding about how Bitcoin governance should work, the role of maintainers, the invisible lines they shouldn't cross. But as exposed in @hodlonaut articles, Core has been captured by technical abstractionists that has opened existential discussions about what Bitcoin is. I say existential because if people no longer know what Bitcoin is for, it is not good for anything.
Many influencers are cheerleaders to the narrative that "Bitcoin has already won", "Bitcoin is antifragile" which is a message I was guilty of falling for. Luckily the actions of Core, and people like @GrassFedBitcoin @cguida6 @mattkratter @_MattHill_ @lukedewolf @Princey21M @knutsvanholm and others — who have worked tirelessly to give the much needed pragmatic viewpoint across. They exposed me to the threats from within, as opposed to the conveniently identified threats from the without. In doing so awoken me from the slumber I was in and made me finally run my own knots node and signal for BIP110.
I can only be positive about the future of Bitcoin, regardless about what happens tomorrow. With these people in the space and the lines they draw and the principles they refuse to walk back on. And the army of plebs that like me have stood up for Bitcoin as money.

It feels great having all these based and solid bitcoiners rallying together. It really has felt like Bitcoiners completely lost their way the last years. BIP-110 has removed all the masks, smoke and mirrors.

My wife's college professor told her class of 12: If nobody shows up to take the final exam, I will give everyone an A+ on the exam. But if even one person shows up, that person will take the test and be graded, everyone else will get zeros.
She told them: I've offered this for 10 years, and never once has any class been able to trust one another enough to all not show up.
The morning came; they were all in their seats with their #2 pencil.
BIP110 will succeed.

Let's not forget where BIP110 came from:
Core prepared their downgrade v30.
Heaps of inflammation caused in the community.
Core had many months to redesign that downgrade by halting the op_return changes.
There was NO reason to rush that change.
V30 could have successfully been upgraded without the op_return change.
Op_return change apparently made no difference to Bitcoin.
So why push that downgrade while it caused the most negative sentiment?
In October 2025, they continued with this downgrade every though 30% of the community did not agree with it.
They essentially did it anyway.
It caused a loss in faith, a loss in respect and most importantly a loss in trust.
Knots node adoption went from 2% to 20% signalling how fucking immature that was of core.
Knots now has a BIP110 soft fork to combat these changes plus add safe guards.
Action = reaction
Fuck you Core.
The SegWit discount was the biggest mistake that has (for some weird reason in a supposed block size wars) got into Bitcoin.
The fundamental flaw is offering a huge one-time fee discount (1/4 cost), at the PERMANENT expense of Full Nodes, allowing up to 4x (4MB) of max block size! Taproot being the step change in exploiting this flaw.
Bitcoin Core’s North Star is Pieter Wuille’s ultraprune architecture, the “UTXO Set”/“chainstate”. Everything they do is optimizing for this, “Prune-First”. This has utility, but it is ultimately a downgraded node, and it also becomes a clear attack target.
But the worst offense of a Prune-First architecture is that True Decentralization is ONLY realized through Full (Timechain) Nodes.
Bitcoin Core has been led by wrong principles for WAY too long. They all repeat like dogma: “a pRuNeD nODe Is a fUlL NodE”. This may be the nastiest idea corrupting Bitcoin’s soul.
Bitcoin is in a truly critical place. And a UASF RDTS/BIP110 is the NECESSARY first step to course correction.
First, by urgently closing the support for large legible data that WokeCore now openly welcomes since v30. This allows (possibly very nasty) “Bitcoin/Web native media” (OP_RETURN DataURL), no script knowledge necessary, is just self-describing text.
At the same time, we need to disrupt the most damaging Taproot’s OP_IF exploit as a data container (like ord inscriptions). And also close other obvious alternative data storage methods.
But second, and maybe the most important goal of BIP110 politically:
FIRING “Blockstream+Chaincode&Friends” Core as Bitcoin’s development leaders.
Captured-Bitcoin Core is DONE.
We no longer have a reference implementation, and we are way overdue. Because they truly fucked up, by a design choice from almost 10 years ago.

At this point, upgrading to BIP110 is a simple security matter. It has sufficient community deployment already to happen. Not upgrading only makes your node vulnerable.
Everyone should support RDTS, but the question has moved on from "do you support it?" to "are you ready?"

The PR had 423 thumbs-down against 105 thumbs-up.
Ava Chow had said publicly in Dec 2023: "If it is controversial, then we don't touch it."
It was merged anyway.
Luke Dashjr was muted on the PR. Bitcoin Mechanic was muted on the PR.

Complaining about government overreach is futile.
Voting is too, especially given the fact that they can PRINT MONEY.
The ONLY WAY to stop supporting perpetual slavery and war is to opt out.
Doing so requires courage, but it's easier than you think, and it gets exponentially easier with every additional person that chooses to do so.
Avoid paying taxes to whatever extent you can!
Use Bitcoin to whatever extent you can! For savings AND transactions. Start accepting sats for your goods and services. Reject fiat if you can.
Get on Nostr!
Finally, run a node and participate for real!
Bitcoin is nothing short of humanity's best shot at ending slavery for good. If you're not participating, you're a part of the problem. Grow the f up! Take some responisibility for your actions!

Game theory in action.
As we get closer to activation more Bitcoiners will come to understand the asymmetric bet at play here.
Signaling #BIP110 not only reorients #Bitcoin to its monetary purpose and eliminates less than 1% of the block reward.
Refusal to signal risks losing an entire block.
Miners who are economically motivated will signal BIP110. Miners who see how spam is harming Bitcoin will signal BIP110.
Only those who are ideologically motivated to perpetuate spam will refuse. A very small minority of the network.
BIP110 is the obvious choice to make Bitcoin better money.
