Love Rugby League in the mud
🗣️ "I don't pay too much attention to it. I don't listen to the outside noise, I'm looking forward to getting over there and playing some good footy." ⚫️🟡🐯

I am strongly in favour of this, seriously underrated SL player. Just hope we can keep him fit!

Now the rest of league knows how it feels to be a Cas fan.
Replying to @AaronBower
This is going to get ugly quickly if this deal collapses, by the way. The term 'civil war' has been put to me by more than one person close to this deal. Super League is completely in limbo: no sponsor, no schedule, no format, no start date, no clarity on teams. It's mid-October
Regarding Rowley's likely appointments - Joe Shorrocks is the only one that I'm any more than 'cold' on. He's a decent age, improves our squad, and doesn't take up a quota squad. Decent if it happens.
I really hope we don't go chasing names like Hastings, McDonald or Wright.
I agree with this. I'm pleased, and it clearly vindicates some exceptional off-field work, but fans don't chant the sponsors names mid match. When you're losing by 50-odd points against 12 men I don't think "well thank fuck for the fanzone, else this would be REALLY embarrassing"
Mainly though, the people just going "Castleford Grade A 😂😂" are just ignorant. The club has made massive strides off-field, despite some horrendous (and fairly unavoidable) circumstances. On the pitch it's an absolute shambles, yes, but that's not the whole criteria.
Absolutely stunning from Wakefield. Beyond the jealously of Daryl Powell winning it with someone else, I'm genuinely delighted for them
Great for the sport that it's a sell out tonight. Genuinely the most excited I've been for a grand final in years. If Wakefield win, means the trophy won't have far too travel next year when Tyrell Sloan's Castleford Tigers win the treble
There's a large part of me that wants Wakey to go on and win it. I'll be fucking fuming, but honestly it's the sort of thing the sport needs. Go well, lads
The centenety game was the nadir, but the most recent two games have kept us at absolute rock bottom. What a toxic, pathetic team this was.
There's a way back for some players. I hope the rest feels ashamed when they think of their time here.
