What if the fastest way to orange pill a business is one customer who makes Bitcoin part of the deal? Byron Espinoza had never used Bitcoin when a Bitcoiner walked into his three-month-old shop in El Salvador and made accepting it a condition of working together. He was a little afraid of it, so he read up, decided it was safe, and said yes. Now foreigners make up about a quarter of his business, he decides whether to hold the sats or move them to dollars, and he’s the one telling his friends to start accepting Bitcoin too. What won him over was how it works day to day. Payments are quick, it’s easier for him and for the customer, and he no longer sees it as a risk. He put it plainly to Mike. If accepting Bitcoin is what it takes to sell more, he’d do it without thinking about it. Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador spreads one customer at a time. Watch the full episode and tell us if you’d have said yes as fast as Byron did. [link below👇 ]

Global feed: 24/7 synchronized chaos and noise. The signal: People opting out, building local resilience, and anchoring their future in sound money. You can’t fix a broken macro system from the top down—build a circular economy from the ground up. @BitcoinKitui
Did the whole world agree to lose it at the same time??? France and Italy are burning, Albania is on day 6+ of clashes, and the list of countries joining in keeps getting longer. 8 countries, 11 seconds, 1 very angry planet. Writer: Julie

Equity makes them shareholders of a corporation. Bitcoin makes them sovereigns of their own time. You can gift every child a piece of Wall Street, but you can't stop them from choosing sound money
BREAKING: Elon Musk says he will donate one share of SpaceX stock, $SPCX, to every American child in 2027. There are currently ~73 million children in the US and SpaceX is trading at $146/share. This makes Elon Musk’s donation worth $10.7 billion based on current share price.

We once believed the Sun revolved around the Earth. We were wrong. Evidence changed our understanding, and eventually, the way we lived. Today, we accept a monetary system in which governments can create more money while the purchasing power of our savings erodes. We’ve mistaken a flawed system for a necessary one. Bitcoin shows us a better foundation: money with a fixed supply, rules everyone can verify and that cannot be altered by any third party, and access globally, beyond all borders. The comparison is about human progress: recognizing that an accepted system is misguided, learning why, and moving forward. Scientific understanding took generations to spread. Understanding sound money takes education and experience too. We’re still early. But we can help move that understanding forward. #Bitcoin #SoundMoney #BitcoinEducation

Digital gold is the footnote. Circular economies are the revolution. Kwa Vonza, Kenya: 15 merchants onboarded. 7 already transacting in sats. Groceries, bread, rice, coffee. Bitcoin as money, not a vault. Bitcoin Kitui is how @jack 's line becomes street reality.

Bitcoin only wins when most of the world uses it as the neutral medium of exchange, not just owns it. The other 90% will come shop by shop. Bitcoin becomes the world's unit of account only through circular economies, and those building them are the real Satoshis. ₿

Bitcoin is money. Digital, permissionless, borderless, almost-instantly-transacted, global money. BTC is transacted over the world’s largest open-source, decentralized computing network and with layer two rails such as @lightning. Have a nice day!

The only true power we have to confront the corruption of banks and complicit politicians is to use an alternate global, borderless, permissionless money that no institution can control: Bitcoin $BTC.
Dear Secretary Bessent @SecScottBessent, My name is Everett Stern. In 2010 I was a compliance officer at @HSBC. From a back office in New Castle, Delaware, I watched billions of dollars move to drug cartels, sanctioned regimes, and terrorist organizations. The enemies of the United States. I documented it, I escalated it, and when the bank would not act, I took it to the @FBI, the @CIA, and eventually the @SECGov. The result was a $1.92 billion settlement. At the time, it was one of the largest in American history. It was also about five weeks of the bank’s profit. Not one banker was charged. Not one went to prison. I paid a different price. I lost my career, my savings, and my place in the industry I had trained for. I was blacklisted. Every door in American finance closed at once. I slept on a camping cot in a 300 square foot apartment because I could not afford a bed, and I waited tables at @PFChangs to eat. I tell you this not for sympathy, but so you understand that I know exactly what it costs to do the right thing in American finance, and exactly how little the system does in return. I made that sacrifice because I believed it would change something. Yesterday, your department fined @BankofAmerica $1.2 billion for failing to report more than $5 billion in suspicious transactions, some of it tied by your own findings to Chinese laundering networks, narcotics, and the southwest border, alongside 475 apparent sanctions violations touching Russia, Iran, and global terrorism. The bank admitted it willfully violated the Bank Secrecy Act. Fourteen years after HSBC. A bank with “America” in its name. And once again, not one individual charged. Secretary Bessent, I want to say plainly what I believe you already know. The fines are not working. A fine is paid by shareholders, absorbed by the balance sheet, and forgotten by the next earnings call. Bank of America reported earnings this morning. Nobody who set the alert thresholds, nobody who decided the 2024 cease and desist could wait, nobody who chose the backlog over the law will lose a single thing they value. Their lives are untouched. That is the entire reason the behavior repeats. This is money laundering. This is blood money. Money that reaches a cartel buys fentanyl that kills Americans. Money that reaches a terrorist organization buys the next attack. This country has fought a war on drugs and a war on terror for decades, at enormous cost in lives and treasure, and all the while we have allowed the financing to flow through institutions we charter and regulate. Cut off the money and we win. We have never seriously tried. There is also a question of equal justice that I cannot let go. Before I walked into the FBI building to report HSBC, I stopped in front of the Great Seal on the wall and read the words engraved beneath it: “Justice is the defense of our liberty.” I believed that. I still want to. But every day in this country, people go to prison for crimes that are nothing next to moving money for the people who want Americans dead. A suit, a title, and a corporate badge should not be a shield from the consequences that apply to everyone else. If a street dealer goes to prison for what he sells, the banker who moved the cartel’s money should be standing next to him. I also want to raise something that is rarely said in these conversations. Why has no one inside Bank of America come forward the way I did? The answer is that everyone in American banking knows what happened to me, and to the whistleblowers who came after. The last person who spoke up is the only policy anyone believes. That is a culture problem, and it starts with leadership, in the banks and in the agencies that regulate them. This is not a political issue. It has spanned administrations of both parties. It is a national security issue, and I am asking you to treat it as one. Three things would change the math overnight. Refer individuals for criminal prosecution. Not the analyst in the queue. The executives who set the thresholds and chose the risk. One banker in handcuffs would do more than every fine in Treasury’s history combined. End “too big to jail.” An institution cannot be too big to fail and too big to jail at the same time. If it is the first, it must be held to a higher standard, not a lower one. And if Bank of America will not act as America’s bank, review its charter. A national charter is a privilege granted on behalf of the American people. It should be conditioned on not moving money for the people trying to kill them. Secretary Bessent, you said yesterday that these actions send a clear message that even the biggest institutions are not above the law. With respect, the institution was never the problem. The people inside it are above the law, and they know it. Until that changes, I will keep writing letters like this one, and the next bank will keep paying the next fine. I gave up everything I had to stop this. I am asking you to use the power you have to finish it. Respectfully, Everett A. Stern HSBC Whistleblower Founder and Intelligence Director, Tactical Rabbit

Breaking: US CPI inflation accelerated to 3.7% in September, up from 3.4% in August, beating expectations of 3.6%. This pressures the Fed to raise interest rates. After the news announcement, gold spiked lower, DXY strengthened, and US equity indices fell.

Economists who couldn't price the money they work in were lecturing us on the money they couldn't print. Credentials measure obedience to the consensus, not the ability to see a monetary revolution.
Behold the heroes. Two Ph.D.s in Economics. Two Nobel Prizes. Decades of tenure, think tanks, and Davos panels. They looked at Bitcoin at $730, $6,300, $9,900, and $10,200 and declared it evil, useless, dead, and destructive. Millions listened. Millions were saved. Saved from ever leaving the fiat farm. Saved from 10x and 100x returns. Credentials don't equal wisdom. Study Bitcoin. Escape.

Krugman called it evil at $730. Stiglitz called it useless. The BIS called it a Ponzi. Roubini called it the mother of all bubbles. Bitcoin never replied. It just kept producing blocks.

Africa needs more than Bitcoin adoption. We need institutions shaping policy, bridging industry and regulators, and positioning the continent to own the Bitcoin economy not just participate as consumers of the technology . 🌍🇰🇪 #ABC2026
We are thrilled to announce Kimberley Sandra @Nyaaaaaaals as one of the speakers at the Africa Bitcoin Conference in Blantyre, Malawi. Kimberley Sandra is a Kenyan Bitcoin policy and regulatory affairs practitioner focused on the intersection of Bitcoin, financial regulation, and financial inclusion in Africa. She has worked across the African Bitcoin ecosystem, with experience spanning regulatory intelligence, compliance, policy research, ecosystem development, and operations. At Bitika, a Kenyan Bitcoin on-ramp, Kimberley worked on AML and compliance frameworks, regulatory engagement, data protection, and the development of Bitcoin infrastructure connecting mobile money users to Bitcoin. Her work has also involved regulatory and policy research across several African markets, including Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, and South Africa. She is particularly interested in how African regulatory frameworks can respond to Bitcoin in ways that reflect local financial systems, economic realities, and patterns of adoption. Kimberley’s research and advocacy focuses on Bitcoin policy, financial sovereignty, and the transition from Bitcoin adoption toward Bitcoin industrialisation in Africa. She is interested in what happens when Bitcoin moves beyond individual users and becomes part of the infrastructure supporting payments, commerce, savings, capital formation, and economic participation. She is currently focused on building deeper expertise at the intersection of Bitcoin policy, regulatory intelligence, and institutional engagement across Africa. Kenyan power bills keep rising: fuel and forex pass-through charges, month after month. That's the shilling losing purchasing power in real time. Bitcoin's supply is fixed.
Electricity costs have gone up again. EPRA has added new charges that will increase electricity costs by about Sh4.10 per unit in October.
