We once believed the Sun revolved around the Earth. We were wrong. Evidence changed our understanding, and eventually, the way we lived. Today, we accept a monetary system in which governments can create more money while the purchasing power of our savings erodes. We’ve mistaken a flawed system for a necessary one. Bitcoin shows us a better foundation: money with a fixed supply, rules everyone can verify and that cannot be altered by any third party, and access globally, beyond all borders. The comparison is about human progress: recognizing that an accepted system is misguided, learning why, and moving forward. Scientific understanding took generations to spread.
