Thank you, @BioAlberta, for inviting us to join this important conversation. Patients need to be at the centre of Canada’s life sciences strategy, not consulted after decisions are made. Alberta can lead by advancing the Task Force recommendations with #patients included.
Powered by @innovativemeds, this panel brings together industry leaders that participated on Canada’s National Pharmaceutical Task Force. The panelists identified the necessity for national coordination in order for Canada’s pharmaceutical and health sector to compete globally.

Charles Brown, IMC’s Director of Government Affairs, West, and Olivier Jerome, Director of Pan-Canada Stakeholder Relations, were pleased to attend the annual @Bioalberta Health and Life Sciences Showcase (HLSS) in Edmonton. The event brought together leaders from across Alberta’s health and life sciences ecosystem to spotlight the province’s strengths and explore future opportunities. Panel discussions covered topics such as artificial intelligence in healthcare, global market expansion, real-world evidence, investment trends, and the future of life sciences in Canada. As a proud sponsor, IMC was honoured to support a program that fostered critical discussions and celebrated Alberta’s innovators. Thank you to BioAlberta for hosting such an impactful event and for showcasing Alberta’s growing role in shaping the future of health innovation.

Important insights from @Bioalberta 's Robb Stoddard: while tech startups need $500K for Series A, #LifeSciences companies need $2-8M with 8-14 year timelines. #Alberta has the talent - we need more patient #capital that understands this sector. digitaljournal.com/tech-scie…
