Stifel reiterated $LXEO Buy-$17 after recently hosting the Co's mgmt (CEO, CMO and CFO) team on a NDR and at its cardiometabolic day.
$BIIB $LRMR PTCT SLDB
RCKT TYNA
Stifel said -- We're reiterating our Buy rating, and key takeaways include:
(1) on the LX2006 pivotal study in FA-CM: management is confident they can meet a 15% effect-size on LVMI based on the ph 1/2 data and their thoughtful patient selection strategy,
(2) a meaningful number of patients have already enrolled in the concurrent NH study that are eligible to rollover to the pivotal, making them confident in timelines (2H27 data),
(3) the recent Mantle deal bolsters their FA portfolio with programs that complement LX2006 in FA-CM, and
(4) notably, management is confident that the efficacy signal for LX2020 PKP2-ACM should deepen over time--with a robust potential effect on NSVTs--and they believe the upcoming 12mos readout (YE26) is sufficient to get a good read on the drug.
Raymond James reiterated $LXEO Strong Buy-$24 after the co. announced the acquisition of Mantle Therapeutics & the initiation of add'l research collabs to further advance Lexeo's capabilities to treat Friedrich's ataxia (FA).
$BIIB $LRMR PTCT SLDB
RCKT TYNA
Raymond James said -- On the Mantle deal specifically, we see this as a cost-effective move that both provides technological diversification and underscores the company's commitment to FA.
Although we were not aware of Mantle (which has been operating in stealth) and believe most investors were not either, Mantle's main approach of HDAC inhibition has long been studied in FA, and with promising early data, we wonder if Mantle has cracked the code.
With Lexeo guiding to filing an IND for one of these assets next year and with runway guidance not changed (still into 2028), we see this deal as having limited short-term impact on the stock but an important long-term play at expanding Lexeo's ability to treat a broader FA population.

$ACET posts positive lupus data for prula-cel
— At 12 months, 54% of evaluable patients hit DORIS remission and 50% of lupus nephritis patients achieved complete renal response
— All patients discontinued immunosuppressants, all but one tapered steroids to 5 mg or less
— No CRS above Grade 2, no ICANS, no IEC-HS, safety supports outpatient dosing per FDA alignment
— 22 evaluable patients, heavily pretreated, all with at least three prior therapies
— Pivotal lupus nephritis study start-up planned for Q4 2026, with possible expansion to lupus without nephritis pending FDA talks
Not financial advice.

$NKTX 4 job openings now, 2 new in September
Nkarta appears to be preparing to advance NKX019 into larger clinical studies, the IT position explicitly references pivotal + Ph 3 trials
2 new clinical operations positions + systems preparation for pivotal trials suggests a program worth advancing - looking forward to ACR data in Nov

CEO Paul Hastings on upcoming data American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 2026 will give 3 presentations:
- oral
- poster
- late-breaker oral presentation on safety which is very unusual
Repeat mentioning of durability + safety, currently outpatient procedure w/ just 2 hrs of monitoring
Hastings key quote - "You don't get an oral presentation at ACR if you have shitty data" - love the candor

CAR field crowded in CD19/BCMA oncology programmes + early autoimmune, but much less in approaches that improve manufacturing, safety or access. A few therapies/drugs may be addressing some of these key challenges
$RNAC $LEGN $NKTX
Validation:
$LEGN conventional CAR franchise CARVYKTI commercially validated > $RNAC Descartes-08 clearest safety and treatment-model differentiation clinically validated POC > $NKTX LB2501/NKX019 novel NK approach offering manufacturing/scaleability solution w/ some promising early clinical validation
In more detail:
LEGN: Commercial CARVYKTI and next gen LB2501
Advantage: CARVYKTI exceptionally deep, durable one-time responses versus continuous myeloma therapy, Next gen LB2501 could offer CAR-T efficacy w/ faster delivery, generating CD19/CD20 CAR-T cells directly inside the patient (in vivo) eliminating individualised ex-vivo manufacturing for lower cost and much broader access
RNAC: Descartes-08
Advantage: transient mRNA CAR-T requiring no lymphodepletion, designed to avoid permanent genetic modification, CRS/ICANS and prolonged immunosuppression. Goal to deliver deeper, more durable autoimmune control w/ lower acute and long-term risk than conventional CAR-T.
NKTX: NKX019
Advantage: off-the-shelf, donor-derived CD19 CAR-NK cells w/ membrane-bound IL-15, designed to overcome autologous manufacturing delays (i.e., cryogenic problems) while reducing cytokine release syndrome (CRS), neurotoxicity and graft-versus-host risk. Therapy immediately available, repeat-doseable. Goal to be safer and more scalable than autologous CAR-T while producing deeper B-cell depletion than antibodies or standard immunosuppressants

H.C. Wainwright reiterated $CNTB Buy-$7 and said -- We recently hosted a KOL discussion ahead of Connect Biopharma's upcoming Seabreeze STAT asthma and COPD readouts and came away incrementally more positive on the setup.
$SNY - REGN VRNA GSK AZN ABBV INSM LQDA
H.C. Wainwright added—Most importantly, the KOL viewed treatment failure, including recurrent exacerbations and repeat acute-care utilization, as the most clinically meaningful measure of success, with approximately 30% relative reduction representing a meaningful win, ~40% a strong outcome and ~50% an especially compelling result.
FEV1 remains important, but in our view the discussion reinforces that Seabreeze should be assessed primarily on whether rademikibart meaningfully reduces treatment failure over 28 days as that is the key measure physicians care about in practice.
We believe this provides a favorable framework heading into the catalyst and remain positive on CNTB shares.
Oppenheimer🏁 $CNTB and said -- We are initiating coverage of Connect Biopharma (CNTB) with an Outperform rating and an $8 PT.
$SNY - $REGN INSM VRNA INSM AZN GSK NVS AMGN UPB
Oppenheimer added—Connect is developing rademikibart for inflammatory respiratory diseases.
A single-asset story, CNTB is built on rademikibart (formerly CBP-201), a next-generation human IgG4 anti-IL-4Ra antibody that binds with higher affinity than dupilumab and, uniquely in the class, drives receptor-independent bronchodilation via pHSP20, producing FEV1 gains within 15 minutes through IV formulation.
That speed could allow rademikibart to enter the acute exacerbation setting no current biologic is approved.
FDA-aligned 28-day treatment-failure endpoint, which could then bridge patients into chronic maintenance where value concentrates.
The two Phase 2 Seabreeze STAT studies (asthma and COPD, n = 160 each) read out in 2H26, the asthma topline in early September, as the valuation-inflection event.

$CRBP my biosquid games pick, for shits. From near zero expectations...this isn't bad data. Weight loss looks decent. GI side effects not clearly dose dependent. Tolerability cadence will be interesting to see here. If you don't want to take a GLP-1, could this be an option?
Replying to @jesse_brodkin @dtklp1
$crbp looks decent to me 👍 (I’m long), weight loss in line with expectations and psych lower than Monlunabant and in line with glp1. Nausea a little higher than I expected. This is a new MOA and will find a place as a treatment, imho
